Hi Bellas, As we're all trying to stay sane and healthy amongst the current Corona Virus crises, I thought it might be helpful to really show you how to sanitize and deep clean your makeup kit and the right way to hygienically apply makeup to your clients. I just finished deep cleaning my kit and I feel really great that I was able to do this during a time when I'm not currently working with clients or out teaching makeup classes.

How did you first get into blogging and/or vlogging?
I actually was on the web searching for makeup ideas for NYE one year because I struggled with finding department store counter makeup artists who could work with my skin tone and eye shape.  I came upon a forum called Asian Beauty Blog where women just like me were posting their pictures and tips and tricks.  I was hooked!  I knew I had a knack for makeup and decided to start my own blog, then YouTube channel, and it was history from there!

Who’s your biggest inspiration or role model in the beauty world?
I am greatly inspired by many amazing artists – I would say my first huge role model was celebrity makeup artist Sam Fine.  He is a master makeup artist and a kind soul.  He really shows off beauty in a luminous and natural way and is an amazing person at the same time.

Hi Bellas,

I've been in a very crafty, DIY mood lately.  As a results, you'll be seeing a bunch of Tip Videos on how to make your makeup experience more organized and in order.  Today I'm showing you a quick tip on how to clean your makeup brush belts and aprons with some items you have in your kitchen.  It's important to keep your brush holders clean so that way they don't contaminate your clean brushes that you work so hard to wash.  Check it out!

I've been wanting to make this video for the longest time and finally got around to doing it.  Over the last couple of years I've developed some tips and tricks for applying makeup on clients with oily skin - and making it last.  I know this could be helpful to a lot of you with oily skin or also to add to your repertoire as a makeup artist.  I get a lot of questions on what products I recommend and in this video I show you the steps on how to apply some of my favorite products for oily skin.
