Makeup Artist Series: Cleaning Your Brush Belt/Rolls

Hi Bellas,

I've been in a very crafty, DIY mood lately.  As a results, you'll be seeing a bunch of Tip Videos on how to make your makeup experience more organized and in order.  Today I'm showing you a quick tip on how to clean your makeup brush belts and aprons with some items you have in your kitchen.  It's important to keep your brush holders clean so that way they don't contaminate your clean brushes that you work so hard to wash.  Check it out!

Check out the video!

Here's What You Need:

1) Olive Oil
This is going to be your cleaning agent.  It will break down makeup residue from powders to even tougher stains like lipstick and foundation.  You can also used an oil based makeup remover.  Many of us already use Olive Oil to pre-clean our makeup brushes, do the same with your brush belts/rolls!
2) Cloth or Wipe
Place the oil on a cloth and wipe down your brush belt/rolls. Rub away the stains.  You'll notice the leather-like materials will be clean and have a new shine to them.
3) Soap and Water
If you want to remove the residue from the oil, wipe the surface again with a wet cloth with a bit of soap and water.

You can find the zippered brush belt featured in the video at www.sedonalace.com.  Use code renren for $4.00 off your order.
