Hannah's Shoot

Hi Bellas!

Happy Monday! Another busy weekend...almost didn't think I was going to make it, lol. But a few monsters and red bulls got me through. This weekend I also tried out my new starflash eyeshadows and pro longwear lipgloss duos and so far so good! I'll do a more thorough review on them later.

About 2 weeks ago I had the opportunity to do a shoot with a model named Hannah. She recently moved to Atlanta to further her modeling career. I actually met her at my makeup artist group meeting. We wanted something a bit different...after looking at her portfolio and mine, we wanted to go for something a bit more couture and high fashion. If you look at Fashion Magazines, a popular makeup look is dark eyes and lips. I wanted to mimic this on Hannah. I only used two eyeshadows on her...carbon and rice paper. On her lips I used a mix of a dark brown and deep burgundy red lipstick (sin lipstick). After that, I did some heavy contouring to give her a very sculpted and defined look.

The pictures came out fab. I absolutely loved her new hair...it definitely added to the edgy vibe. And I will say, the girl had her model poses down!
