Products that Work: L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Mask

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another product review.  I've been taking my time this Summer to really test out products thoroughly so that I can give you the real deal.  Today I have a product recommendation that we can all use.  I'm a huge proponent of skincare and when I find a good deal, it's even better.  Check it out!

I had an opportunity to test out L'Oreal Paris' new line of Pure-Clay Masks.  Out of the line of three masks, I fell in love with their Detox and Brighten Mask.  I've been doing a lot of traveling this summer, and after tons of sun exposure, activity and junk food, I definitely needed a Detox.  I've heard great things about charcoal masks lately and I was really excited to try L'Oreal's take on it.

Product Claims:
The masks contains three pure clays plus charcoal to remove dirty and impurities.  Dull skin becomes more radiant, impurities are removed and you're left with healthier looking skin.

Directions:
The directions advise you to apply to dry skin, avoiding the eye and lip area.  You're to leave it on for 10-15 minutes and remove with water.  Repeat 3 times per week for best results.

My experience:
I've used this mask several times over the last few weeks.  I find myself using it only when my skin looks more dull such as after a vacation or about once a week.  I applied the mask to my skin and immediately felt it tightening as it dried.  I saw my pore spots through the mask as it appeared that it was pulling impurities out of my skin.  After washing my face, I instantly saw results.  My skin looked radiant, brighter and it felt clean and tighter.  I think this is a great addition to your skincare routine.  There are times when your face definitely needs a reboot and this mask does that.

The mask as it dries, check out my pores, you can literally see the mask pulling out the impurities

I loved the mask so much that I immediately had both my husband and a friend of mine try it.  They both loved it.  I tried to take a before and after picture using the mask but the camera did not detect the radiance that my eyes saw in the mirror.  Nevertheless, I definitely recommend this product.  It retails for under $10 at both Target and Wal-Mart and you can find this in your local beauty aisle.
