New from Estee Edit - Metallishadow Creme + Powder Pics and Swatches

Hi Bellas,

Happy Tuesday.  I've been really trying to catch up on my product reviews and give you all the scoop on the latest and greatest products out there.  I just got a bunch of really cool cream and powder shadow combos from Estee Edit.  If you love glitter and bold colors, you've got to check this out!

Estee Edit just came out with 6 new combos of their Metallishadow Creme + Powder products.  I received the set of glitter finishes.  They all have a trio of metallic finishes.

I'm loving their combination of colors - bold and fun yet still wearable.  I found the matte cream colors to be very buttery and blendable.  Creamy to touch, yet when it dries you can tell that it's not going to budge.  The shadows are a typical loose pigment with particles of glitter mixed in to add some pop.

Onto the pics and swatches.

- Wild Cosmos: On top, a bright royal blue creme shadow. In bottom, a sparkling navy blue loose powder. Layer together for an intense flash of blue metallic.

- Solar Blast: On top, a chocolate creme shadow with subtle bronze pearls. In bottom, a golden bronze sparkling loose powder. Layer together for a burnished bronze effect.

- Cyberella: On top, an aubergine matte creme shadow. In bottom, a sparkling aubergine purple loose powder. Layer together for a multi-sparkle purple foil.

The directions say to just pat the cream on with your finger or a brush and then pack the pigment on top with your finger or brush.  I would totally rock the cream as an eyeshadow base and place the pigment on top to make it pop. Or you can use them alone as liner but it would be more for a subtle smokey look than a deep, rich line as I don't think they're quite bold enough to be used as liner.   You can also use the pigments on their own for a sheer wash of color that's buildable. Or wet your brush and then apply the pigment to get a more metallic finish. But I think used together is the best combination.

I think these are fun products to play with.  Especially when you want a fun, bold look.  I would totally rock these shades for a night out.  They're a bit pricey, but you do get two products in one, so make sure to pick some shades that you feel like you'd get your use out of.

This product retails for $25 on Sephora.  Some of the shades are already sold out!  You can also find them on www.esteelauder.com
