FOTD: Subtle Pop of Teal

Hi Bellas,

Do you ever have days when you're home at night and you just sit and play with makeup?  I did! I had fun really putting together a look carefully with products out of my makeup bag.
Since I wasn't rushing around to wear this makeup everywhere, I had time to do things right, including taking a picture of all the makeup I used, lol.  These pictures are all without filters and unedited...ahhh if only I always had unlimited time to do my makeup lol.
On my skin I used CoverFX Cream Foundation in G70.  I had been neglecting it for some long as I was opting for powders during this summer heat.  However, I find that when used with the right brush - I use a medium sized synthetic powder brush, I just barely need enough product to cover my entire face.  The result is flawless skin that still feels lightweight, score!  On my cheeks I used Milani Luminoso Mineralized Blush - it's so pretty but just a tad bit light for my skintone so I have to make sure and pack it on lol.
On my eyes I used my trusty Mehron palette.  I wanted some rosy nudes on my eyes.  I did a soft cut crease and used mattes to create a very precise, blended look.  I then used my holy grail Alcone at Home Perfect Liner Pen to get a nice, elongated wing.
But really, the center of this look is this gorgeous teal pop of color in the waterline using the NARS Gel Liner in Solomon Islands.  This was in my blogger gift bag from the Orlando Makeup Show last year and I'm so glad I had the chance to try it out.  I know it's popular to do a pop of teal on the lowerlashline, but for some reason I find it looks strange on me.  Instead, popping thisin my waterline gives the same effect but doesn't make my eyes look smaller.  This product is so rich and pigmented, I am so impressed.
To finish it off, I used again my Holy Grail Nude Pink liquid lipstick - Alcone at Home Enduring Lip color in Creme Brulee.  I gave it more of a mauve feel by using my MAC Prolongwear lip pencil in Absolutely It.  I picked this up during a MAC Pro Class on Drag Makeup incidentally.

I hope you guys enjoyed this look.  If you want to see a tutorial, let me know in the comments below!
