Makeup By Ren Ren June/July 2014 Beauty Favorites

Hi Bellas,

It's time for another monthly favorites!  I decided to combine the last two months' worth because I didn't have enough favs for June along.  I've got a nice mix of hair, makeup and even teeth products lol.  Check it out!

Check out the video!

Tarte EmphasEyes Brow Pencil in Medium Brown
This has always been a favorite eyebrow pencil of mine.  Now that my hair is lighter I especially love the warm brown tone. Here's an old shot of my pencil.

NYX Cosmetics Nutmeg Lip Pencil
This has my go-to lip pencil for the last several months.  I can pretty much pair it with any color to make it fit my skintone.  I especially love using it with my Alcone Enduring Lip Color in Creme Brulee for the perfect nude lip.

Eyebrow Bleach
This is must-have product for anyone who lightens their hair.  I've tried different brands.  I usually recommend the one that's extra strength if you have black hair like mine.
Pravana Blue Shampoo
Wow I was really impressed by the intensity of this blue shampoo.  I tried it twice...first time I shampooed as normal and didn't really notice a difference.  Second time, I left it on my hair in a shower cap for about 20 minutes and I noticed my highlights really popped.
Crest Whitening Strips
I bought these at the drugstore for around $50.  They're definitely pricey and you only get a few strips.  Buttt...they really do work instantly.  This is great to pop on before a special event.  Pop them on for an hour while you do your hair and makeup and you're good to go.
Lady Moss Koko Lashes
For the last 3 trade shows in a row, i've gotten at least 5 pairs of their Koko lashes.  I love the voluminous, special styles and they're such a steal for 5 for $20.
Eve Pearl Invisible Powder
This is my go-to touch up product for my oily t-zone.  I love that it's small enough for my makeup bag, has a built in mirror and it's all I need.
Milani Baked Blushes
I randomly picked these up from CVS.  It's not my first time using the product but it had been a minute.  Man, these blushes are so amazing!  They are so smooth and they make your cheeks glow without any chunky glitter flakes.  Such a great drugstore product.  I'm currently rocking Rose D'Oro.

Lorac Tantalizer
I picked up a mini size on a whim and love the glow that this mineralized bronzer gives.  I actually use it to buff out my contour and it makes everything just so glowy, loves.

LA Girl Pro Concealers
The hype is real.  These concealers are really nice and the price is crazy low.  They're more pigmented than I thought and work awesome for highlight and contour.

The Balm Instain Blush in Toile
I really enjoy products from the Balm and this blush is no exception.  The great part about it is it really does stain the cheek so your blush lasts for hours, score!

Not So Favorites

Clean Dry Shampoo
I ordered this on HauteLook.  It's the old school dry shampoo style without a spray nozzle and boy this stuff does not work.  It is so hard to blend out the white powder and it kinda looks like I have dandruff.  I thought I'd love the scent because I have a Clean perfume, but it's not worth it.  Totally pass!
