FOTD: Cat Eyes and Mod Lips

Hi Bellas,

Time for another Face of the Day!  I've been having a bit of fun on instagram lately, featuring my CoverFX BB Gel and Concealer Routines via video.  I wanted to make sure and also show you the final look - a Cat Eye and Mod Lip.  Check it out!

First off, my base is CoverFX BB Gel in Golden Deep.  I buffed it into my skin with the CoverFX Liquid Foundation Brush.  The small, flat top let's me get extra coverage where I want it.  I love this foundation for summer - it's lightweight, cooling and mattifying and also corrects blemishes!

Next, I applied the CoverFX Cream Concealer in Light to areas I wanted to highlight, using the CoverFX Concealer Brush.  A little goes a long way.
I love that this concealer is in a sqeezy tube (easy and more sanitary to apply) but really has a highly pigmented, cream quality to it.  Afterwards, I blended it in with a Beauty Blender and then used my foundation brush to buff out any edges.
On my eyes, I decided to play with my go to neutrals that I carry in my mini z-palette - it stays in my makeup bag.  I decided to make more of an emphasis drawing out the edges with black and cutting the outer half of my crease to give that cat eye effect.
Originally I had glossy pink lips, but I decided to mattify them with a bit of concealer to lighten up my Alcone at Home Enduring Lip Color in Creme Brulee (my favorite pink nude ever!!!).  This really gave a retro lip look.

Hope you guys enjoyed!  Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
