Halloween Makeup: Snapchat Butterfly Filter - Easy and Under $10

Hi Bellas,

Happy Halloween Makeup Tutorial Thursday!  I wanted to throw in something DIY, that you could pull off last minute with a few random craft supplies.  This is also a very glam look, perfect for my girls and guy who want to look glam for Halloween.  Today I'm showing you my take on the Snapchat Butterfly Filter Makeup.  I purchased everything for this look for under $10.  Check it out!

Check out the video!

All of the craft supplies in this video are from my local Michaels Craft Store.  I took these colorful wire butterflies, painted them with gold paint, sprinkled them with glitter, and wrapped them onto bobby pins to create the butterfly halo effect.

To create the Instagram frame, I bought a piece of white foam board, cut out a large rectangle in the middle, and paste some Snapchat cut outs that I got from the internet.

Use an exacto knife, a pencil and a ruler to get an accurate and even cut out that is big enough to show your upper half.

The makeup is really just a super glowy, bronzey look.  I used extra liquid and powder shimmer highlighters to get that blurry, filter effect.

I'm also wearing blue contacts to give the look more of a fairy like effect.  I also used hot rollers to give this bouncy, voluminous hairstyle.

And here is the final look with your Snapchat board!

Hope you all enjoyed this look!  It's really fun to do this easy and inexpensive craft project, and the makeup is glam and beautiful.  If you create any of my Halloween tutorials, make sure to tag me on social media @makeupbyrenren!
