NYFW SS2014: Nanette Lepore: Makeup Recap & Rewear

Hi Bellas,

Today's fashion coverage brings you American Contemporary designer Nanette Lepore.  Born in Ohio and relocated to NY, Nanette's influence comes from a bohemian childhood and a passion for a good party.  Her designs are seen on the hottest in Holly wood from Taylor Swift to Blake Lively and Sofia Vergara.  Check out my break-down of what the models wore on the runway!

Nanette's collection is all about faded romantic florals and a step back into prettiness.  There was a constant theme of pops of a bright orange red.  This carried through from their pops of red in their heels, purses and into the clothing.

The makeup was all about a bright orange red lip and beautiful skin.  The face really had that "no-makeup" makeup look save for the pop of color on the lip.

To accomplish the glowing skin, use the cult favorite Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrait as a moisturizer and prime to plump up the skin.  Next layer on the best foundation and concealer - RCMA and Dermacolor.

The best for last...I apply an orange red listick.  No liner needed.  Just apply precisely with a lip brush and you're done! I love that this gorgeous lip color was used on all skin tones and looked just as fabulous on every one of the models. I recommend Alcone at Home Lipstick #6.

Don't forget!  I'm hosting a huge giveaway to attend two master classes with Oprah's MUA this Sunday in New York as well as the chance to be his model!  Comment on my FB page post here to enter and the most likes wins!
