I'm back with another Face of the Day. I was totally inspired to do this look immediately after attending Renny Vasquez' Beauty and the Beat Class in Atlanta. I took the class Saturday day and that night I recreated his signature smokey eye.
The great thing about this look is that you should have most of the products in your makeup bag. Essentially it's a black smokey eye and nude lip combo and various colors of foundation. I spent a lot of time on my skin...bringing highlight and contour to my face with cream foundations.
I went with Renny's Mistake Proof Smokey Eye. I placed MUFE Black from the flash palette as a base and packed on black eyeshadow on top. Then I place a brown in the crease and that's about it. I also lightened my brows a bit by using a caramel brow gel from Anastasia.
Next to a sexy nude lip! Using Renny's technique, I used a concealer instead of a lipstick to get my perfect nude. I also applied and blended out a brown lip pencil and topped it off with gloss.
