2011 New York Makeup Show Part 1 Pics & Giveaway!

Hi Bellas,

This year I attended my first Makeup Show.  It was an absolutely amazing experience and honestly it couldn't have gone any better.  I really want to thank Graftobian for bringing me to the show and really taking care of me and my mom.  This is part 1 of my series on the Makeup Show and in this post I'll feature pics from the show, from my class, from viewers and even some with my mom in the city.  Part 2 will feature my haul.

Booth Time with Graftobian!
I basically spent both days working the Graftobian booth.  I was there to help out customers, do color matches, make over models as well as people coming to the booth.  It was so much fun!  I got to meet a lot of my subbies who came by and took lots of pictures.  I also was sooo exhausted, lol.  I'm so thankful I wore flats.  Next time though, I need to make sure and eat more and take a few more breaks.  I was dying!  I'm mad I didn't take a second to get pics with Eric and John from Graftobian, ah well, next time!

Pics with subbies and fellow bloggers/youtubers!

My Class!  What Color Am I?
The morning of the second day, I had my class.  I was so nervous no one would come!  It was at 10:45am and at 10:40 I only saw a few people in the audience.  At 10:45 I turned back around and it was packed!  There were even rows of people standing in the back.  Thank goodness!  I really appreciate everyone who came out to support me.  In the class I showed how to color match, use a cream foundation as a concealer and liquid foundation and how to airbrush.  It couldn't have gone better :)  My mom took some great pics!

Mommy and Daughter Time!
Of course I had to spent quality time with mommy.  She flew in from Orlando to meet me.  After the show I made sure to take her out to see the city since she hadn't been since 2000, before the World Trade Center bombings.  Here are a few fun pics!

Empire State Building - It was really cold and windy up there, lol.

Mary Poppins Broadway Show - This was the last night and I was exhausted!  I fell asleep during parts of the show but it was still really good.  Did you know that Graftobian makes the black soot makeup they use in the show?  Pretty cool right?

Thanks for checking out this long post.  Now for those of you watching the video, you know I mentioned a giveaway!  I'll be giving away 5 Graftobian HD 101 DVDs.  This is amazing for those of you aspiring artists out there who really want some great education but weren't able to make it to my class at the show.
