How was your weekend? It went by a little too quick if you ask me! Saturday was busy for me...I had two gigs. It was a full day...8:30 to 6pm. I was exhausted! First, I had my Filipino model Stefanee come over for a glamour shoot makeover...I did a smokey eye and flat ironed her hair...she came out sexy! She's a great canvas to practice on.
After that I had another Trash the Dress shoot...I think I must have taken off about 10 years with the Cinema Secrets foundation alone...love the stuff! Then I went to the shoot and thank goodness it wasn't blazing hot this time because the time passed by quicker.
Sunday I went to get an oil change and ended up with a $400 bill for new tires, alignment, and oil change! Don't you hate when that happens? I definitely didn't budget for that but you gotta do what you gotta do...especially in ATL where you need a car to get around.
Anywho, I finally got a Halloween look up! This also coincides perfectly with Jamie's Halloween contest. As soon as I saw the Midnight Bloom MAC face chart I was sold! I love anything to do with flowers. I should have worn all my flower barrettes in the pic to add to the drama. I was filming this video as I was recovering from my lip allergy...so you'll notice that I'm talking a little strained, especially in the end of the video when I'm trying to smile, lol. Some you tube viewers were telling me to quit talking through my teeth...dang people, I had an allergic reaction, cut me some slack, lol.
In the middle of filming this video my boyfriend was moving his washer and dryer into my place with some of his friends I have never met before. LOL they probably thought I was a weirdo with this face makeup on!
The key to pulling off this look is to use a lot of small brushes...like lip and eyeliner brushes, in order to get the small details. The eyes alone are actually a very wearable smokey eye for the evening.
I used a lot of products, all MAC unless otherwise stated:
-studio mist foundation med dark
-brow pencil spiked
-Ben Nye concealer
-bold and brazen e/s
-Urban Decay chopper e/s
-shadester sculpting powder
-Ben Nye blue pencil
-NYX white eyeliner
-Ardell 120 demis lashes
-black funk eyeliner
-manor e/s from royal assets metallic eyes quad
-hollywood nights lipstick
I'm going to get at least one more Halloween look up...maybe even two. Stay tuned for more :)
Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
