Hi Bellas,

Today is another installment in my travel series.  I'm showing you how to pack for a girls' weekend in Vegas!  I'm also reviewing my new favorite luggage which has made travel so easy for me over the summer.  I hope you guys love packing videos as much as I do.  This video is great for any weekend summer trip.  Enjoy!

Hi Bellas,

One of my greatest loves is traveling.  So in addition to the beauty content I have featured on this blog, I will also have a new travel series.  My first post is a video with international packing tips.  I recently traveled to India and did a lot of research on what to bring.  Hopefully this helps some of you who have upcoming travel plans.  Check it out!

Hi Bellas,

I absolutely love when I find makeup gadgets that make my life a whole lot easier.  I stumbled across this product called Cosmo Lay and Go when I was at IMATS LA at the Alcone Booth.  The idea is simple...lay your makeup out on this bag, then snap it up and go!  This is great for those of you who do makeup on the go or hate clearing up makeup mess.  Check it out!

Hi Bellas,

I couldn't end 2013 without hosting another giveaway!  If you follow me or Sedona Lace on Instagram, you'll know that on Black Friday we finally released the Travel Vortex Brush Collection.  I wanted to make sure and film a video on the background of the collection, how I developed the case and picked the brushes.  And of course, give a bunch of sets away!  Check it out!

Hi Bellas,

I'm so excited.  I'm actually heading to Europe today for vacay.  I'll be a bit MIA for at least the next 2 weeks and I wanted to make sure you guys knew I didn't drop off the face of the planet lol.  The boyfriend and I are headed to Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and London for the next 2 weeks.  Besides makeup, the one thing I really love to do is organize and plan, lol.  I'm a packing maniac!  I decided to film a quick video showing you tips for packing for an overseas vacation.

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another post!  Over the summer I've done a bit of traveling.  With that, comes ways to pack as efficiently as possible, especially when it comes to my makeup.  I want something that is roomy, organized and affordable.  I recently found a great option from Target.  I also shoot an entire video showing you all the makeup I packed from the NY Makeup Show.  Check it out!

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another post!  I recently had the chance to test out some $10 palettes from Stila.  That's right $10 and it includes 4 full size shadows and a convertible cheek/lip color.  You can actually find them at Nordstrom Rack.  I reviewed three different palettes, check it out!

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another video!  I made a bunch in December and I want to get them up so I can start getting some 2012 videos under way with my new red hair! (more on that later he he).  This is actually a video I filmed when I went to Puerto Rico last month for a mini vacay.  I finally got the opportunity to film my makeup packing process for an actual trip and I hope some of my OCDness helps you guys!

Hi Bellas!

So yah, it's my birthday. Could you tell from the title, lol? It's the big 26...I think after 25 the irresponsible young days are over, ha ha, time to be an adult!

This morning, I woke up and my bf had a bunch of pretty presents wrapped as well as flowers on our table. Yay! I don't know about you though, but when I get up for work, I give myself just enough time to get ready and i'm out the door! I'll open them tonight :) I got to work, and my co-workers were sweet enough to decorate my cube. I also got flowers and a ballon from my boss as well as a breakfast sandwich (which I can't eat since I'm not doing carbs, lol).

We're also planning on seeing Transformers tonight with our crew. I felt like the first one was just okay, so hopefully this one is better. Then tomorrow my friends have a "surprise" birthday dinner planned for me, lol. Friday is my BFF's fiance's birthday so we're also going out for that. Then Saturday is just for me and my BF to celebrate :) I want to do something low key...just quality time together since we're going on vacation next weekend to Savannah.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes on YouTube and Twitter, they made me feel so special :)

Meanwhile, I uploaded a video last night on how to pack makeup for summer vacations. If you know me, you'll know I'm extremely OCD about packing. I usually have a spreadsheet and pack way in advance. I like to know I'm not forgetting anything, but also make sure that I have everything I need.

Check out my video for tips and tricks for packing:

Hi Bellas,

As you know, I will be in Costa Rica with my Get it Girls for the next 9 days. I'm so excited! I'm leaving Thursday at 7am!

A few things on our agenda:

-ziplining in the rainforest
-bathing in the hot springs fueled by the arenal volcano
-massage on Jaco Beach
-nature and animal reserve in Manuel Antonio
-canopy rainforest tour
-partying it up with the surfers and locals
-enjoying local Tico cuisine
-shopping in the Costa Rica marketplace

Thank you for all your suggestions on what to pack in terms of makeup...after reading your suggestions, I made a few adjustments and definitely sized down!

Take a look at all I'm bringing...
-MAC warm eyes eyeshadow palette (6 eyeshadows in one palette)
-smolder eye kohl with sharpenener (one black pencil eyeliner)
-nars multiple in palm beach (my bronzer, lipstick, eyeshadow, plus base all in one)
-smashbox sheer focus tinted moisturizer (as opposed to foundation, concealer and powder...thanks to Nicola for the recommendation!)
-chap stick (gotta have this-quench my parched beached out lips)
-nars lipgloss duo (two lipglosses in one)
-lash curler (no false lashes for me)
-mascara (MAC zoomlash)
-mini brush set (posh)

That's it! I think I have the basics down. I doubt if I'll use it all but I wanted to bring some girly items just in case the girls and I dress up to hit the town at night.

Here's a tip: when you pack anything that is powder and comes in a compact, put a bit of tissue or cotton balls in between the lid. This will prevent cracking. I also like to put my eyeshadow palette in one of those mini mailing envelopes that has bubble wrap inside. The rest of my products are cream so they should be okay.

I left my boyfriend instructions to upload a few videos in my absence. Up next are my Filipino Tag Game Video and Sephora/Ulta Haul video. Check out my youtube page while I'm gone for these videos to keep you entertained till I return. I'll miss you guys!

Ciao bellas!

Hi Bellas,

Last night I had another photoshoot. The model was an up and coming recording artist whose style is like Jon B meets Babyface. He was having a photoshoot done for his new album. I did the basic male makeup routine...conceal blemishes, fill in hair line and beard, chapstick...takes under 10 minutes to do. Easy breezy! Too bad the shoot ran overtime...now i'm paying for it!

So I don't think I've mentioned it, but i'll be going out of town starting on Thursday. Me and the Get it Girls (my lil girl clique) will be taking our yearly vacation. We're going to Costa Rica! I'm trying to film some videos and get some posts done in between...that way I can give yall something to look at while I'm gone, lol. I think the next videos will be a spiced chocolate quad tutorial and then a review on Pur Minerals Makeup.

Meanwhile, my over organized OCD self is going into packing mode! Just ask all my friends...I'm the kind of person that makes typed up packing lists weeks in advance. I already have our day by day itinerary on Excel. Pretty much, I like to be super duper prepared but pack light at the same time. I'm the kind of person that will not remember the little things so I need lists to keep me in track.

One thing that i've been trying to narrow down is packing makeup for the trip. I feel as if I can tone down the makeup since it's mainly beaches and rainforests I'll be visiting, lol. Therefore, I'm looking into minimal makeup that won't crack or be damaged in transport, as well as multifunctional beauty products. On top of it all, I have to resist my urge to buy new makeup products (ahemm...Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer I've been lemming) just for this trip, because the budget for the trip is already at maximum capacity.

So far this is what I'm packing:

-NARS multiple in palm beach (a pretty bronzey color good for the cheeks, eyes, and lips)

-NARS lipgloss duo in sunset beach/orgasm (two very wearable colors in one)

-select moisture concealer

-mascara (no falsies on this trip!)

-eyelash curler

-warm eyes MAC eyeshadow palette from the 2007 holiday collection

-cream blush in sweet william (that way I can wear blush without worrying about the powder cracking)

-sample size 5 gram jar of loose setting powder from Silk Minerals (to set the concealer and cream cheek products)

-revlon colorstay liquid liner in blackest black - gotta have this!

-rimmel professional eyebrow pencil

-a few brushes in a travel brush sest

-i'm debating on what kind of foundation to bring...pressed mineral, tinted moisturizer (which I would have to go and buy), cream compact...but it's hard to decide especially since i know i'll be getting tanner...and I don't want to wear anything too heavy.

Do you guys have any tricks for packing light for travel?

Any great and reasonably priced makeup products to recommend? lol

It's amazing how NOT helpful google is being on my search for travel makeup...lol

After I get all the suggestions and get my final list together...i'll do a picture post to show you the final results.

Till next time, ciao bellas!
