I wanted to share with you a makeup and outfit look for a super special occasion. I recently threw a huge week of festivities for my husband's 40th birthday, ending with a grand surprise party. As the official host of the event I wanted to make sure my hair, outfit and makeup were on point. Check out the breakdown of my look below.
Fortunately, I had my hair colored and curled by my amazing hairstylist Messiah just a few days before. The curls were still pretty tight, so I simply placed them in my large Click N Curl Rollers to stretch out the curl a bit.
For events around friends and family, I go for a glam look but still try to pick neutral tones. That way, it doesn't look too over the top. Last but not least is my outfit! I was looking for my dress for several weeks and ended up on this gorgeous Nicole Miller pick from Rent the Runway. I don't typically wear this shade of blue but I love how it looks. I think it was the perfect mix of sexy and classy to feel on point and fierce but still appropriate around my mom and the family. Great look, my eyebags are still obvious though on pics,what's a good concealer for it? And do can you recommend a nice curling irons for locks that last longer or do you only use the rollers? Thanks
