Bridal Shoot: Classic Glam

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another Bridal Makeup Shoot.  Today's bride was all about classic wedding glam.  I gave her a soft smokey eye, a pretty pink nude lip and soft skin.  You can't go wrong with this makeup combo.  Check it out!

My model had beautiful brown hair and a light complexion.  I didn't want to overpower her coloring with a dark smokey eye, so instead I went with a softer option.  I used a mix of taupes and cool browns from my Viseart Neutral Eyeshadow palette.  This gave just the right amount of definition around the eyes.

I chose a classic bright, baby pink blush from Kevyn Aucoin to give the perfect bridal flush.  I avoid using shimmery tones on the skin as this makeup is primarily for photography and I wanted the makeup to photograph well.

For the brows, I used MAC Lingering brow pencil, a neutral middle tone brown to create a naturally full brow.  I felt that they ended up being a bit darker than I liked, so I applied a bit of concealer to a spooly and brushed it through the brows lightly - instant fix!

Lastly, I wanted a soft pink lip.  I prefer a bit more color than a straight nude because I think it looks healthy and more bridal.  I mixed a brighter coral pink with a nude pink from my Viseart Nude Lip palette to get this perfect combination.

Hope you enjoyed!  More bridal looks to come!
