Vlog! Halloween Makeup Meetup

Hi Bellas,

This past weekend I hosted my monthly Atlanta Makeup Meetup Group.  It was a super fun, Halloween themed meetup and this time around I was able to capture a really fun vlog and pictures of the fantasy peacock and zombie demos we did as a group.  Check it out!

Check out the video!  This video was made using this really cool app that the BF found.  Pretty nifty right?
We started the Meet-Up by working as a group to come up with ideas for a Peacock Fantasy Makeover.  This involved doing a cut crease, applying feathers to the face, and even a blue, glittery lip.
Everyone in the group left with gorgeous containers of glitter from Graftobian.  Thank you again to Graftobian for sponsoring giveaways for this meetup including FX Kits and FantasEyes Palettes.
Next, we moved to the Zombie demo.  This was so much fun!  We learned how to create a realistic bruise and the different types of blood to use in gore makeup.  Our host location, Binders Art at 3330 Piedmont Road has an amazing new makeup department so that attendees can pick up pro products like the bruise wheels and fx blood products we used today.
The group even got hands on and created their own zombie wounds.  A little bit of oatmeal and liquid latex works wonders!
And here's my final zombie look!  It was fun being the model for once, even if I ended up looking crazy!

It was a really fun time.  If you’re in Atlanta, I encourage you to join the group.  It’s completely free and it’s a great resource for meeting fellow MUAs/Beauty Junkies while getting education at the same time.  You can register at www.meetup.com/Atlanta-Makeup-Meetup to sign up and become notified of the next meetup.  Some things we have planned included Volunteer Makeovers for Prom where all proceeds go to a scholarship fund…a really awesome pro MUA panel with Oscar award winning MUA Ve Neill…and a holiday themed makeup meetup. Hope to see you there!

FTC Disclosure:  Post not sponsored.  I am not paid to run this group, I do it because I love it.
