3 Easy Ways to Transition Your Makeup from Summer to Fall: Featuring Alcone at Home

Hi Bellas,

Happy Tuesday!  Fall is swiftly approaching and I see everyone is already gearing up for the new season - and I want to share with you 3 easy tips to transition your makeup from summer to fall.  Check it out!

I believe in 3 easy steps to help you go from summer to fall.  All of these products are available at my Alcone at Home Webstore.  Throw these new shades into a pretty Large Magnetic Palette that you make especially for Fall and that will make it just that much easier to rock a new look for the Autumn.

Step #1:  Matte Skin
With cooler weather, skin becomes a little less glowy and more matte and polished.  The key to doing that is getting a good translucent powder.  I throw Alcone's Translucent Pressed Powder in my palette and set my foundation to eliminate any shine.
I continue the matte look with Alcone Blushes like #1 which is a nice mauvey shade, perfect for fall.  In general, richer deeper shades of blush work nicely for the fall.  These blushes are super pigmented and pro quality.  I'd compare them to NARS blushes and I love that you can throw them in your palette and be ready to go!
Step #2:  Jewel Toned Eyeshadows
In the fall, it's all about jewel toned eyeshadows.  I picked a bunch of great Il Makiage for Alcone at Home Eyeshadows that will transition you makeup into Fall.  This includes nice, matte neutrals that build any look like 17, 7, 8, 16 and 9.  Throw these into your magnetic palette because you'll use these colors everyday.  Here's a fun fact:  Did you know that Francois Nars himself credited the Il Makiage brand for inspiration for his NARS line?  His kit was filled with Il Makiage as a MUA.  That speaks volumes for the quality of the brand.  Like I said, Alcone took its top selling, highest quality lines to feature in this program.
I also included some gorgeous fall shades including plums, purples, navy and silver.  I love using them to smoke out a look and bring a pop of rich color to the lid.
Step 3:  Vampy Lips
Nothing screams Fall more than a gorgeous, vampy lip.  I love rich shades in reds, plums, and purples.  The easiest way to transition from Summer to Fall is to incorporate the vampy colors with glosses instead of lipsticks.  That way ,you get the deeper color but it's still light enough for the summer heat.
I love the Alcone Blinged Out Lipglosses because not only do they have cute rhinestone packaging and a built in mirror, but they've got a range of finishes and shades for everybody.
Love is a gorgeous red glaze and Joy is a metallic berry that I can't wait to rock.

Hope you guys enjoyed!  Don't forget to check out my Blogger Team for their super helpful tips on Summer to Fall Makeup.
