My Custom Contour/Highlight Z-Palette

Hi Bellas,

One of my weekend projects was to organize my highlight and contour powders into a convenient palette.  Mission accomplished!  I posted the results in instagram and by popular demand, I'm breaking it down on my blog.  In today's post, I show you some of my favorite products and also give you some ideas on how to find the perfect highlight/contour shades.  Check it out!

First off, I placed all of the products in a domed z-palette.  I found that the regular palette wasn't deep enough for some of my depotted products.
The little steel round stickers come in handy because my magnetic MAC pans don't stick too well on their own.  I officially fit 15 contour/highlight shades in this palette...not too bad right!

MAC Sculpting and Shaping Powders
These used to be a pro product but now they're available on the MAC website.  I love that they come in various shades and offer a skin-like finish.  I always use these on my clients.

Eyeshadows
If you don't have the right contour/shaping powder, use an eyeshadow!  I have a white gold eyeshadow from Ofra (a dupe for NARS Albatross highlighter) and a super deep burgundy from Laura Gellar for very deep skintones where I can't often find a dark enough contour color.

I also use Graftobian Shadows to highlight and contour - they're larger than most shadows which makes it convenient to grab product from.

MAC Blunt Blush
This is a great, pigmented brown blush which makes an awesome contour shade for Women of Color.

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder
I like this pretty champagne highlighter for giving a bit of shimmer to the cheekbone.

I hope this post was helpful.  If you have any other highlight and contour recommendations, please leave them in the comments below!
