Quick Smokey Eye Makeover

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another quick makeover.  One of my good friends from had special formal to attend for work and asked if I could do her makeup.  I hadn't seen her in a while and agreed since I hadn't seen her in a while and it gave me a chance to play with some new products on a willing model.

She wanted a smoky but we still wanted to keep it light since her dress was black.  I decided to go for more of a light silver smokey look using my 120 Eyeshadow Palette.

Karla is naturally gorgeous, I just emphasized her features and don't you love her short sassy do?  She recently had some issues with breakouts after going off of proactiv for a while and then trying to go back on.  Do any of you have that problem?  Anyhow, I will say that if I could go back and redo this makeover, I probably would have airbrushed her.  Using traditional makeup took longer because the concealer was getting wiped away from stubborn blemish spots when I applied powder and blush.

Another thing I noticed is that I talk a lot during makeovers with my friends, lol.  It took me an hour and a half because I was just chit chatting...but when I saw that she had to leave in 15 minutes I did 90% of the look, lol. In case you're wondering, I didn't do her lips because she still had to eat before hand.  I gave her a 5 gram jar with some MAC Sappaclicious lip gellee for a quick application later.

Here's the final look!

I'll try to remember a before and after next time, Ciao Bellas!
