My First Skydiving Experience: Video and Pics

Hi Bellas,

As many of you all may know, I took an opportunity of a life time and went sky diving this weekend. It was an amazing experience. Honestly, the scariest part is the fear of jumping...once you're out of the plane, it's amazing!

I went to Skydive Atlanta, an amazing company with great people. My videographer Chris did an absolutely outstanding job on capturing my experience on film...wait till you see my video!

To see the live footage...believe me you won't regret it...click here!
Not only did Chris capture my live video of my jumping in the air, but he interviewed me and my instructor and let me pick my soundtrack.

Check out my video!

I've also included some amazing photos of my experience.

Here I am, strapped to my instructor.  This is the hardest part...toes over the edge.  But you don't really have a choice at this point...they just kinda push you out, lol.
No turning back now!  The first thing you feel is a huge rush of wind in your lungs!  It's almost hard to breathe!  I'm sure you get used to this after time but it lasts about 10 seconds before they deploy the first parachute.

Look i'm flying!  You're supposed to keep your legs crossed at your instructor's butt...but clearly I didn't follow the instructions, lol.

A-town!

Can you believe I had time to cheese in front of the camera? LOL

You can see a little of the scenery in the shots below.

My crazy landing...you can't see here but i'm supposed to land on my booty nice and smooth...but I landed on my knees and had to brace the fall, ouch!
In the end, I'm so glad I got over my fears and decided to do it.  It's totally worth it.  After you feel a sense of empowerment and feel like you've got one up on the world.  If you're in Atlanta, I definitely recommend you check out Skydive Atlanta and definitely ask for Chris as your videographer.  I feel like I've made a huge check mark off of life's list and can't wait to do more!
