Hi Bellas,

You all know that I'm a huge fan of Graftobian Cosmetics.  I was super excited to see that they introduced some new lipstick shades to their line.  I love their Lipstick Super Cream Palette with the essential shades for my kit but I was excited to see them add more shades to the collection.  Check out my swatches of their new Red lipstick palette and two new nude lip shades.

Hi Bellas,

Who doesn't love new lip colors. Anytime I get new colors to try, I feel like it's a brand new outfit, a brand new look.  Now that we're transitioning out of summer, I really want to switch up my lip game from all the nude pinks into some bold fun colors.  Make Up For Ever's new line of Artist Roue lipsticks are literally to die for.  If you're a lipstick junkie, please check this out.

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with a quick post featuring some fabulous lip products my co-worker brought me back from Paris.  I was super excited to show you all.  I'm also pumped because I plan on visiting Paris in the fall and this is just a taste of what i'm expecting.

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another review!  I've used these products for the last few months and I better get my review in considering the fact that's it's nearly fall and this is a Summer Collection.  Regardless, the products from Senna's Beauty in Bloom line definitely have staples that will last you year round.

Hi Bellas,

I recently did a post on my top ten MAC eyeshadows.  It was pretty well received, so I thought I'd do a series out of it.  Today I'll be featuring my top 10 MAC lipsticks.  This is great for those of you who want to build your own personal collection or for makeup artists trying to consider what colors work for a kit.  I picked colors that would look great on everyone.

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another post and video.  This was features one of my favorite topics - makeup storage and organization!  I'm pretty OCD when it comes to organizing my mounds of makeup.  I thought it would be a good idea to show you how I've sorted out my personal and professional lip product collection.  This goes for lip pencils, lipglosses and lipsticks.

Hi Bellas,

The Holidays are swiftly approaching and I wanted to share with you some goodies that I received from my friends at Steelo Cosmetics.  They sent over these cute mini santa bags filled with Steelo products ranging from lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, to mineral shadows.  These make the perfect stocking stuffer as well as a gift to yourself.

I decided that this would be a great opportunity to give my readers a little holiday gift.  I gave away four of these goody bags to viewers who dialed into my interview on the Keepin' It Fierce! Radio Show with Nikkie20six.  I was so excited that you guys actually called in...the lines were packed!   Thanks again to those who supported me on my first radio interview.

I also wanted to share with you some swatches of some of their newest lippies.  When I first tested out their products, I loved the texture of their lipglosses.  They are extremely pigmented and smooth, but not sticky at all. I love how you can get so much color with one swipe.  The colors are truly gorgeous.  They also came out with a brand new shade, ego, which is a gorgeous berry, plum color.  This is a must have color in my kit...perfect for autumn and winter looks.

They also sent over 3 new lipstick shades.  I also love steelo lipsticks.  Again, the texture is super smooth, almost like a glaze, but you still get a lot of color.  In the beginning, I felt that the company had too many of the same berry shades...all gorgeous, but it's good to have some variety.  They've come out with 3 brand new shades.  I'm in love with the pink one!  I usually can't wear bright pink lipstick, but this is my favorite new color, especially topped with a pink lipgloss.

Check out the swatches.

Here's a shot of me wearing Steelo lipstick in Charmed.

Hi Bellas,

I'm always a fan of finding affordable, yet high quality cosmetics. I recently had the opportunity to try out two from Max Factor. Check out my two part review!

As many of you may or may not know, Max Factor was the first real makeup artist to develop products for the everyday woman. He mixed the old school grease paints to concoct easy to apply formulas of foundation, lipstick, blush and more. He's definitely a Father of the Makeup World...I'm glad his line is still around to pay homage to him.

I used to use Max Factor panstick foundation back in the day (Great for drag makeup by the way), but haven't really used it too much since.
I'm always in search of an inexpensive, yet high quality lipstick to add to my personal collection and kit. I came across the Max Factor Vivid Impact Lipcolor and decided to give it a shot.

I tried out the color in shade 028. After applying it I was surprised at how super moisturizing it is...after looking at the ingredients I saw why...Shea Butter! This magical ingredient makes such a difference. It even felt more moisturizing than MAC slimshines. The Shea butter also acts like a lip balm so it seals in the moisture making the lipstick have the longevity of a long-wear product...Nice!

The only thing is that I didn't like the way the color I had looked on my lips. There's nothing wrong with the product itself, but I had the wrong color for my lips and skin tone. After pondering over this for a bit, I decided to give it another go. I added a more vibrant lip pencil and voila! Problem solved!

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Review
For this one, I asked the help of my good friend Melissa. She's always in search of a new, bigger and better mascara. I've been wearing my glasses for the last month straight so I thought she'd be a better test subject. I gave her some simple guidelines for her test. Here are her results:

Application process...easy to use?
It was easy. the mascara went on smoothly. there was minimal "gunk" or extra mascara on the brush.

Brush Type...too big, too small...easy to use?
The brush size was easy to hold and comfortable. I liked how you could put the bottle in an upright position when you put it down while you are applying. I like to think it might be more hygenic to have it standing upright so the opening of the bottle is as far as possible from the table or bathroom sink.

Easy to remove?
It was easy to remove with makeup remover and just washing your face in the shower.

Pros
Went on smoothly, glided on my eyelashes, separated and elongated my eyelashes. no gunk or clumping together.
Cons
It does volumize a bit, but perhaps my personal preference is for more volume.

Would you buy again?
Yes! My fav thus far for mascaras in this price range!

Check out a picture of Melissa using this mascara. It looks pretty clump free. She has naturally long lashes, lucky girl. But I can see how she would want a little more volume.

You can find these products at any local drugstore. Till next time, Ciao Bellas!

Hi Bellas!

How was your holiday break? I just got back from Orlando yesterday. It's so hard to get up and go to work the day after a vacation, lol.

I had lots of fun visiting the fam...the usual craziness trying to go from being an independent young woman to feeling like I'm a kid again at my parent's house, lol.

I had a chance to hit up the MAC pro store, yay! I'll post a haul video probably next week.

Did you guys get lots of presents for x-mas? As I get older, I don't really expect much but I got some goodies this year. In particular, my bff got me some NARS as part of our secret gift exchange, woo hoo!

Also, my boyfriend got me a new digital camera, finally! Now I can film my youtube videos and not have to worry about the blurry quality of my old webcam. The webcam was great in the beginning, but after a while it started going down hill. I have to more videos to upload that I did with my other webcam, but moving forward I'll have crystal clear videos. Thanks to the BF!

In the meanwhile, on my wednesday I uploaded a tag video - My Top 6 Lip Products.

Here they are:

1) Aquaphor - best lip moisturizer for serious dry skin issues
2) and 3) Viva Glam V lipglass and lipstick - most flattering universal color in my opinion
4) Bateaux Lustreglass - I love using this limited edition shade on women of color - fabulous!
5) Cork Lip Pencil - The perfect shade of brown for my highly pigmented lips...I always feel extra diva when wearing this :)
6) Gentle Simmer slimshine - A pretty sheer pink shade that's perfect for everday

Check out my video!

Don't forget to subscribe :) Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
