Drugstore Jewel Toned Look & Jane Cosmetics Review

Hi Bellas,

Have you ever tried Jane Cosmetics?  They're a drug store brand which I reviewed a while ago.  Well I'm back with some super pretty swatches.  This brand is affordable and worth taking a look at.  I was sent these products by Nordstrom Rack... I knew that they had affordable clothing and shoes but they have makeup as well!

Let's start with the blushes.  I was really impressed by how smooth these were.  They have more of a satin finish with a bit of sheen but it's not overly glittery, just really fresh looking.  Both shades showed up beautifully on my tan skin tone.

Time for palettes.  I was honestly not that impressed with the look of the palette...aesthetically they're not that pretty and it makes the shadows look like they would be less quality.  But looks can be deceiving...
They actually swatch and apply really nicely.  I was surprised at how pigmented they were.  The color combinations in each palette seemed a bit random to me but they are nonetheless nice colors.
I decided to do a look with the palettes and blushes.  This look really reminds me of my Aveda Jewel Toned eyes but with drugstore products.

Here's What I Used:
  • Revlon Lip Butter Sugar Plum
  • Jane Blush in Soft Mink
  • Jane Eyeshadow Palette in Manhattan Tones
These palettes are also available at drugstores and your local Nordstrom Rack.  Have you guys tried Jane before?  Let me know in the comments below!
