I'm back with another bridal look. My client happens to be marrying a classmate of mine from college, small world! This is another Indian Bridal ceremony where I get to create three different looks, yay! We went from super neutral to smokey and fun.
I'm back with another shoot post! I worked with the amazing MMFotography again to get some amazing shots of a model who was interested in building her portfolio. Her aim was to get into print and beauty...and hopefully one day Maxim! I did three differents looks and show you exactly how I did it.
I recently had the chance to try out some products from Rodial - a high end British cosmetics and skincare line. I had heard of them after watching Pixiwoo rave about their products on their YouTube channel. I reviewed a wide range of items - spray tan, concealer and makeup remover wipes. It's nice to try some luxury products once in a while. The line has been endorsed by all sorts of celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, and Posh Spice - you know, all the hot ones! If you're interested, make sure to check out my review!
I got an email from one of my viewers. She needed help with foundation recommendation shades. She has a skin tone like me and wanted to know what I liked to use on myself. As you know, I've tested out a whole lot of products in my day, but I do have a few favorites that really stick out. You may be surprised at the results. Oftentimes, I get questions about what shades I recommend. It's difficult in that I don't know the exact shade names and numbers for every product line out there. However, I am pretty familar with what I wear.
If you're around an NC42 in MAC, or you're considered a tan, medium dark shade, you may want to check out this post to see what foundations I recommend. These are items that I actually wear on myself.
I apologize for my two day absence. I had a bout of food poisoning and then I needed to prepare for a presentation in class yesterday. The presentation went well, I'm recovered and I'm back with another post! I'm hoping to get my video editing system working so I can finally get a new video up. Meanwhile, I'm continuuing my series on my favorite MAC products. I've already featured my favorite lipsticks and eyeshadows. Today I'll be focusing in on my favorite glosses - or lipglasses, gelees, lustreglasses, whatever you want to call them, lol.
I'm back with pictures from another photoshoot. I worked with a music artist known as Risque Soul. We did some really fun looks for a photoshoot for updated media shots. I did three different looks from smokey to super bright.
I'm back with another post! This one is a little different. I decided to start a new series called "Brand Focus". I'll feature some of my favorite cosmetic lines and then highlight the must-have items. Today I'll be featuring Eve Pearl. I have EP products in both my kit and personal makeup collection. I'll break down exactly what I recommend getting and why. If you haven't tried out her products or are debating on which ones to get, this is a definite must-read!
I'm back with another makeover. Today's post features my girl Mascara Melissa. I did her makeup for her birthday a few weeks ago and you know I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures for you all! We created a really fun, bright look that came out beautiful. Not only that, but I used very affordable products.
I'm back with another video! This time it's not by me, but I do make a guest appearance. In the video you'll see my cameo for a shoot I participated in for http://www.blackhairmedia.com/. I was the lead makeup artist and you'll see me in action.
I'm back with another client makeover. I worked with one of my future brides to be to give her a beautiful, natural look for her engagement pictures. I used pinks and browns for her eyes - always a winning combo.
Happy Monday! I'm back with another FOTD. You might already know that I don't typically wear makeup on a day to day basis. Usually it's tinted moisturizer and if I feel like it, blush and powder. The opportunities that I do my makeup I really try to take a picture so that I can show you all. I had the opportunity to do so when I attended a wedding a few weeks ago.
Happy giveaway friday! Believe me, I have not forgotten about my giveaway to celebrate reaching 8,000 twitter followers! I'm already closer to 9,000 and don't worry I'll have another giveaway for that as well :)
Think of this as my belated Valentines Day Gift to you. I did a Pretty in Pink prize theme with some of my favorite products.
I'm back with another makeover. This was my second time working with my client. You may remember that I made her over for her Alter Ego Photoshoot here. She had taken the pictures to display at her big 40th birthday bash. This post, i'll show you the glam look we did for her Hollywood Affair themed birthday party.
I got this idea from Spoiled Pretty's Blog. She had an interview with celebrity Makeup Artist about filling in the blanks for statements regarding his favorite beauty tricks and brands. I thought it was really fun to do and I wanted to share my answers vs those of Mario Dedivanovic.
I'm back with a new kind of post. I've seen some YouTube gurus post videos on products they regret buying. Sometimes I'll like a product at first glance but notice that later on it doesn't really work out for me. I am offering completely honest feedback on items that I've purchased with my own money. I hope these posts are helpful for some of you who are deciding whether or not to purchase a product.
Happy Friday! Today I'm lucky enough to host the Sedona Lace Freebie Friday on Twitter. If you're not following me and Sedona Lace on twitter, go now! I'll be hosting a giveaway for the 88 Warm Palette through the weekend.
I'm back with another post! I had an amazing opportunity to work with Celebrity Photographer Derek Blanks last year. He's shot the likes of Fifty Cent, Nicki Minaj, and recently he shot the promo ads for BET's the Game. You may recognize him from some of his amazing Alter Ego Photoshoots where celebrities get to split personalities - there was footage of his shoots when he worked with the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
I'm back with another review and giveaway! I've partnered again with Glitter Gal to feature some of their blingiest products. From halographic nail polish to rhinestone encrusted mascara, make sure to check out this post for my review and giveaway!
I recently did a post on my top ten MAC eyeshadows. It was pretty well received, so I thought I'd do a series out of it. Today I'll be featuring my top 10 MAC lipsticks. This is great for those of you who want to build your own personal collection or for makeup artists trying to consider what colors work for a kit. I picked colors that would look great on everyone.
