I'm back with another post! I know you're super excited to see this one. Today I'll be showing my video and pictures of my 2011 New York Makeup Show Haul. I seriously had less than an hour to make all my purchases since I was working the Graftobian Booth all day. I didn't get to visit a lot of booths - Inglot, Stila, Eve Pearl...even though I really wanted to. I just didn't have time! I'll make sure to get them the next time. If you want to see what I picked up, make sure to check this one out! Most of them are items that I consider must-haves.

Every year I save up for these makeup shows. I take a little from each paycheck starting 6 months in advance so that I can have enough money for travel, food and of course most importantly makeup lol. I try not to buy too much makeup throughout the year since I know I can get it all at once and at a deep discount at the show. Here's what I got!
This is my favorite brush cleanser of all time, it's totally life changing. I picked up the biggest bottle they had and it's huge! My boyfriend laughed at me lol. But I had been rationing the other size since last year's LA IMATS. I think I spent around $20 to $25 on it and it's totally worth it.
I always use the Lait Creme moisturizer and Hydramatte on most of my clients. I stocked up! They were having a show special with two full size lait cremes and a travel one, I think it was for $40? I think originally it would be around $64. I also picked up the Hydramatte for $30 when it's originally $37.
I had to get another Preo Sectional Lash Curler. It's a must have in my collection. I was borrowing the one from my kit and needed one for myself! Originally $25, they sold it for $20.
I got the complete set of Ruby and Olive Shades for $80. It was a more than I wanted to spend but my other ones were getting old. I just checked online and on www.camerareadycosmetics.com each trial pack is $31.99 each ...so I definitely over paid. What's up with that!
I knew I wanted some of their dark red lip tars. These tars are amazing for photoshoots when you need quick, vibrant color. I wanted some of the deep reds for women of color rocking a pin-up look. I actually ending up picking up all the colors I didn't have so now I have a complete collection! I've twitpiced a few of these lip colors recently, gorgeous! I also had to get my hands on their new OCC Tint - I'm apparently between shades Y3 and Y4. This is a brand new product that debuted at the show. Can't wait to show you all!
The blushes were $5! I got all of them plus one shaping and sculpting powder as well as two for a friend. I had to pick up the infamous brow pencil in Brunette (can't remember how much) and the Sensual Skin Enhancer in SX11 which is my color (originally $45 but was $20 at the show). I'm so sad though, my brow pencil somehow got lost in traveling back, what a waste.
Okay I totally went overboard at this stand. Honestly I kind of regret it. What happened was that I only had about 30 minutes to shop and this stand was close-by and didn't have a long line. I knew I need to pick up some gifts for friends and they conveniently had everything in a mini-set which I figured I could split up to make goody bags. Boy, next time I'm not going to make the same mistake! I spent $244.97 and this was after everything was 50% off. Sure it was a good deal but I really went overboard.
I also picked up a boatload of Graftobian stuff...the products I used during my demo I got to keep. I'm really excited about their new Brow palette, the 5 Pan Lipgloss palette, New Ultra Light Cream 5 Pan Foundation Palette, and the Cool blush palette because I didn't have those before. And I picked up some extra awesome items to give away - this includes their HD Makeup DVD (total must watch for artists), corrector palettes and more!
FTC Disclosure: Post not sponsored. I bought everything except for items from OCC and Graftobian which were gifted to me.
