Reviva Primer Review

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another review.  I've tried a lot of primers in my day and a lot of them are a dime a dozen.  It takes something special for me to take notice.  I recently had the chance to try out a new primer from Reviva and I'm impressed.

I gave myself a few weeks to try out this primer.  I have dry skin but sometimes I pile on moisturizer which does make me a tad greasy.  I've been favoring Shea Butter lately and it definitely adds some shine.  I've begun wearing this on top to work with no makeup.  I've also begun wearing it under my makeup when I go out with a full face.

The product comes in a clear bottle with a pump.  I like this because you can see how much product you have left and the pump is sanitary and convenient.

I notice that you don't even need a full pump for the face.  It gets a bit too slick if you do that.  I recommend half a pump.
Here is the product rubbed into my skin.  You can tell  that my hand looks fuzzed out and smooth as a result of the primer.

The reason why I like this primer is because of the texture.  It's not like the typical dimethicone type primer like Smashbox, it actually has a bit of stickiness to it.  This extra teture helps it smooth on top of the face without it feeling too slick like other primers.  I hate the feel of primers where it feels like your face is too slippery.  The extra grip seems to actually hold the foundation a bit more.  I did notice that this primer made my skin feel smoother and it also mattified oiliness.

Ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), olive oil, coenzyme Q10, squalane.

This product retails for $19.50 but I found it online for as low as $11.99.  For more information check out Revivalabs.com
