Drugstore Makeup Review- Jane Cosmetics

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another review.  Today I'll be reviewing a line that many of you have probably seen in your local drugstore...Jane Cosmetics.  They contacted me and sent over a few items.  I've been really into finding some great drugstore finds for you all that work great but don't break the bank.

I tested these items by wearing them out for a few weeks.  My review was based on application, color/pigmentation, holding powder and price.  The entire line seems to lean towards "pure" mineral type makeup which not only looks great but is also good for you.

Be Pure Mineral Gel Eye Liner in Black
I really like this.  It's not as creamy as some of my others (i.e. bobbi brown) but it actually makes it a lot easier to apply.  It's very black and pigmented and the brush that comes with it is actually pretty awesome.

Lipstick in Sorbet
The color was pretty pigmented.  The picture comes off as hot pink but it was more of a flamingo shade in person.  I probably wouldn't have picked the shade myself but the overall product was okay.  It's more of a sheer frost shade.  My preference is for more creamy/satin shades.

Be Pure Mineral Pressed Powder in Colorless
The label says colorless but it does indeed have some color to it.  It comes with a flat brush but I decided not to use it.  Instead, I used a powder brush to set my foundation and noticed that it lightened my complexion a bit.  Would work better for light to medium category.  However the powder overall is decent...not too powdery and gives a smooth appearance to the skin.

Be Pure Mineral Crushed  Blush
I'm not a huge loose mineral powder wearer but I decided to give this a shot.  This powder is Talc Free, Oil Free, and Fragrance free.  The shade is a very light shimmery pink color.  It's a bit sheer on my tan skin but looks nice paired on top of another brush.

These products are super affordable and can be found at your local drugstore.  The quality was actually pretty good. I highly recommend checking them out.  My favorite was the gel liner.  Happy shopping!
