Face Atelier Ultra Foundation - Women of Color Swatches

Hi Bellas,

Many of you may have known that I'm a huge fan of Face Atelier foundations.  Huge celebrities like Rachel Ray, Fergie, and Lady Gaga also rock their line.  I had a chance to swatch some samples of their newest debut - the Women of Color Line.

First off, I've already reviewed the original line Face Atelier Ultra Foundations.  To see that review, click here or check out my video.

I've used those foundations in my kit for a while now and they've worked fabulously.  My only complaint was that the color shade was a little limited.  There were time when the adjuster shade 0+ (used to darken existing foundations) was actually a color match for some of my clients...and that's where it ended.

It May 2010, Face Atelier met consumer demand by launching The Ultra Foundation Collection for Women of Color.  This release consists of five new shades:

These foundations come in the same silky, silicone based formula.  You can see that you have a nice range of colors including Heat (orange adjuster) and Zero plus plus (darkening adjuster).

I also showed you how you can transform these existing shades just by adding the Heat adjuster.
The bottom row shows shades #10, #11, #12, and #0++ with the Heat adjuster.  It's like you have four new foundation shades!

I'm very excited to pick these colors up at IMATS LA.  The samples weren't quite large enough for me to demonstrate on a model, but when I pick up the shades I'll make sure to do a video about it.  I think they'll make an excellent addition to my professional kit.  Additionally, if you find it hard to find your foundation match, I would definitely recommend taking a look at this line.  Already have foundations that you don't want to waste?  Just pick up an adjuster!

A 1 fl. oz container retails for $45.  You can check these out at www.faceatelier.com

I'll make sure to show you all these shades in my upcoming IMATS haul because I definitely plan on purchasing these!
