Travel Series: The Ultimate Cruise Packing List

I just went on an awesome cruise and spent months packing and researching various websites, watching other videos to bring you a comprehensive packing series. This first video is on must-have items to pack for a cruise. This is just in time for spring break and upcoming summer vacations. I tried to compile the best tips and prices I found in this one video.  Check it out!

REN’S CRUISE PACKING LIST

Organization
  • Packing Cubes 
    • Gonex or Eagle Creek compression cubes via Amazon (http://amzn.to/2oaWzv3)
    • Target, TJ Maxx has affordable packing cubes.  
    • eBags via Amazon
  • Pop up hamper (dollar tree) or dirty laundry bag (TJ Maxx) some people use a zippered delicates laundry bag to store dirty clothes
  • Passport holder (TJ Maxx)
  • Zippered waterproof bag for swim suit (TJ Maxx) or a large zip lock bag
  • Foldable duffle bag (Amazon) to carry home souveniers
  • Jewelry Roll to organize jewelry (TJ Maxx)
  • Hanging Toiletry Bag to hang on bathroom hooks (eBags)

Medicine
  • Mini pill case
  • First aid kit (dollar tree)
  • Neosporine, anti-itch, pain reliever, Dramamine, Pepto Bismal, anti-gas, cold meds, cough drops, emergen-c, allergy, etc.

Carry-On Luggage (in case your luggage doesn’t arrive the first day)
  • Dinner outfit
  • Bathing suit and cover up
  • Pajamas

  • Shoes for pool/dinner
  • One bottle of wine/champagne per person 750ML or less

Beach
  • Water shoes for rocky beaches/excursions (Target or Wal-Mart)
  • Flip flops/sandals – REEF Flip flops, most comfortable flip flops via Amazon
  • Beach bag/backpack
  • Sunscreen for the face and body
  • Aloe
  • Bugspray with deet
  • Towel clips (Dollar tree, laundry aisle)

  • Shampoo/conditioner/Hair Products
  • Skin care – cleanser, moisturizer, etc
  • Body soap

Cabin Essentials
  • Travel Alarm Clock (Amazon)

  • Corkscrew for Wine
  • Hand soap – liquid with pump(more convenient to use than the bar soap they give you)
  • Travel Flashlight
  • Easy nightlight idea – illuminating plastic ice cube or flameless mini candle
  • Magnetic  hooks/magnets for your metal cabin walls to hang hats, bags, post papers (http://amzn.to/2nh05PD)
  • Scissors with blades under 3 inches
  • Post it notes to leave notes for friends/family and cabin steward
  • Sharpie, Pen, highlighter to highlight activities on your cruise itinerary

  • Check in for cruise online, print cruise luggage tags and attach to luggage
