Photoshoot Makeup: No Makeup Makeup

Hi Bellas,

I did a shoot a few weeks ago featuring that "no makeup" makeup look.  When I first got started as a makeup artist, natural makeup was the hardest thing for me.  I found it easier to transform someone with a smokey eye and drama.  Over the years, I've come to appreciate enhancing my client's features with the right colors and technique so that they look like an enhanced version of themselves.  Check it out!

Before and after!  My goal was to focus on evening out and softening her skin tone.  I wanted to give this more of an editorial look, so I thickened her brows, inspired by models like Gigi Hadid.

I kept a pretty pink palette on her cheeks and lips. On the eyes, just a bit of mascara and smudged brown shadow.

For the second look I warmed up my palette slightly by using a peachy lip color to give that just bitten look.

I also added a bit more of a warm blush for more of a healthy glow.

Hope you all enjoyed!  Hair by Kelli Kibble, Photography by Michael Crute.
