Wedding Guest Makeup: Neutrals are best!

Hi Bellas,

Happy Hump Day!  I'm back with another Face of the Day.  This is actually a makeup look I wore to my friend's wedding.  I did the makeup for the bride and then later attended the wedding as a guest.  Check it out!
I wanted a little definition since this wedding was going into the evening, but still wanted to keep it neutral.  I definitely believe that it's the bride's day so the attention should be on her.  Therefore as a rule of thumb, I typically stay away from super bright colors or heavy smokey looks.

For my eyes, I went for a neutral look with definition.  I used my favorite Mehron Neutral Matte Palette. On the eyes, I kept the lid a neutral cool brown and then to save time, applied my blush color in my crease.  I then added a shimmer champagne tone (from my Viseart Metallic Eyeshadow Palette) in the tearduct for a pop of color.  For some definition - I applied winged liner and lashes.
On my face, I kept the look light and dewy.  It was so hot that day that I didn't want such a heavy face of foundation.  I used the CoverFX CC Cream in G70.
On the lips I just went for a pink with a bit of gloss using my Holy Grail Alcone Enduring Lip Color in Creme Brulee.  I think I can wear this lip color with nearly every look and just change up the lip liner or gloss, loves!

BTW, my purple peplum dress is from Asos and the necklace is from Charming Charlies.  Hope you guys enjoyed.  Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
