Time for the Review and Giveaway!

I used the Shimmer City Fingerpaint Palette for this look.  From the outside it looks like any other black 88 palette. Not a huge fan of the sticker though.  It retails for $29.99 from www.shimmercity.com
When you open it up you'll notice these are different kind of shadows.  First off you get a large mirror, and then the shadows are in square pans and they're very shimmery.
The colors are intense, very bright and are numbered for easy reference.
It's called the Fingerpaints Palette because the shadows are best applied with your finger or a sponge because of the heat from them. They actually swatch really nicely and are very moist and creamy - also like they could be cream shadows but they're actually dry shadows.  According to the seller you don't need a primer and it's waterproof, but I wear them with a primer regardless.

Here are swatches of the palette top to bottom:

Here's another look I did with the palette:

PROS
-a lot of shadow options from bright to metallics
-make great lid focus colors
-large shadow pans which are numbered for easy reference
-nice creamy texture
-highly pigmented
-swatch nicely
-unique product, haven't seen another palette like it out there

CONS
-all of the colors are super shimmery/metallic, no mattes
-cheap packaging, don't like the sticker
-website is pretty rudimentary and basic
-does not apply as well with a brush - colors become less vibrant that way, even though you can use a brush to blend like I did in the video.
-if you use your fingers to apply the shadow like they recommend, it can create a film on the surface of the shadows
-not sanitary for work on clients if you're using your fingers
-shadows did fade after wearing them on my lid for a while - you do need a base

Do I recommend?  If you want to try a different kind of palette for your personal collection, and you're tired of the regular 88 palettes, I would suggest this one. If you don't like using your fingers, a sponge tip applicator to get the best color payoff, and are not a fan of shimmery colors, this is not for you.  I think this is something different and fun, but not a must-have.
