Airbrush Foundation Storage Idea

Hi Bellas,

When I was at the New York Makeup Show I picked up a bunch of Graftobian full size airbrush foundations.  I had nowhere to put them!  I began brainstorming and came up with a pretty cool solution for makeup storage.

My solution was to purchase a nail polish rack from ebay. I purchased it for $34 including free shipping from this seller.

I know people sometimes do this with MAC pigments so I thought I'd give it a try.  I was a little nervous because the dimension were 3.75" tall when the airbrush bottles are about 3.9".  Luckily this nail polish rack has wire slots so the top of each bottle is able to poke through the back; otherwise it wouldn't fit.

Here's a picture of the rack that was on the site.  I know I took a risk because I couldn't see a live picture and mainly went off the description.  But I went with this one because the height dimensions seemed better than others.
Here's the final product.  Looks so nice and organized :)  Too bad the bottom left corner is a bit broken...it seems like the edges need to be re-saudered...but it still works.

I like to flip the bottles around so that I can see the names easily.  I place them in color order from lightest to darkest and grouped by Neutral, Cool and Warm.  With airbrush foundies sometimes the pigment settles so it's hard to see the shade by just looking at it, so putting them in order is the way to go.

I haven't hung it yet...it seems pretty heavy.  Also, I might need to spread the foundies out a little bit because they're kinda packed in there.  It's all a work in progress.

Ciao Bellas!
