I wanted to share with you a makeup look that I was totally inspired by. Cardi B's makeup artist, Erika LaPearl created a really fierce cat eye mauve lip combo for the 2018 MTV VMAs. I loved her red lip version too and knew that I wanted to recreate it. If only I had a short wig to match. Check it out!
The eyes are a cat eye shape with a cut crease, gold in the lid, and brow to contour the outer v.
Lastly, is a matte, mauve lip. A liquid lipstick is a good choice.
I love Cardi B's deep set eyes but this look works on any eye shape - cat eye makeup is super flattering and as you can see also works on my flat lids.
