Palladio Review - Crushed Metallic Shadows and Butter Me Up Sheer Color Lip Balms

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with an overdue review.  I had a chance to test out some new goodies from Palladio.  These are actually right in time for Spring.  Think lip tints and sparkly eyes.  Check it out!

The Butter Me UP! Sheer Color Lip Balm $8 is a moisturizing lip color with a sheer wash of buildable color.

This is great for those of us who want a no fuss lip color that's great for work or school.  It also feels nice and light on the lips and gives you some nice moisture which is a plus for Winter since we all tend to be drier.  I'm not typically a fan of orange tones, but because this is sheer I find it more wearable.

Palladio's Crushed Metallic Shadows $6 is a really neat formula that reminds me a lot of Makeup Geek Foiled Shadows or Ofra Cosmetics Diamond eyeshadows.  It's a powder eyeshadow that has a creamy texture which gives an intense, foil metallic finish.

Here is a swatch dry on the top, and applied with a wet brush on the bottom.  You can see both pack a ton of color.  I love this gold shade, it would make such a glam evening look.

Here I am rocking these products.  I took a sneak pic while I was on the train headed to a Hawks basketball game.  I applied a sheer wash of gold on the lid and the orange balm on my lips.  Easy breezy makeup look with sheer pops of color.
