I'm back with my first fall tutorial! I went deeper with the lips and eyes to create a really pretty fall look. It was fun to mix some lip colors to come up with a custom burgundy lip and I finally show you some new foundation and techniques. I also feature an outfit of the night, yay! Check it out!
I knew for this look I wanted to play with a darker lip combo. I had been experimenting with some of my liquid lipsticks and found that you can get a gorgeous custom berry tone by mixing a vibrant hot pink (Alcone Enduring Lip Color in Cupcake) and a deep burgundy (Ofra Cosmsetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Mina) and top it off with a deep lip liner. This color actually reminds me a lot of MAC Rebel, love!
For the eyes I went to my favorite palette right now - Pur Minerals Love your Selfie. I created a shimmering night time look that was smoked out but not too dark as I didn't want to compete with the lips.
I'm rocking a new foundation in this video - MAC Nourishing Prolongwear Foundation in NC42. It's too light for me but I do like the finish and hopefully it will be a good Winter shade for me. I also trying the "baking" method buy leaving powder (I used
CoverFX Illuminating Setting Powder in Light) on my highlight to set it. I do notice the difference in photos but beware if you have dry skin cuz it can look quite dry and powdery. A setting spray will help alleviate that.
