New Years Eve 2012 Tutorial - Smokey Black/Gold Glitter Eyes

Hi Bellas,

It's New Years Eve tutorial time, which means it's time to break out the glitter lol.  Today I have a pretty standard look that's great for a late night party - Smokey Glittery Eyes, Tan Skin and Nude lips.  I mixed both gold and silver glitter so that you don't have to worry about clashing with your jewelry.  This mixed metals look gives you the best of both worlds.  Check it out!

The key to this look is the glitter.  Instead of dealing with messy loose glitter, I opted for some easy to use glitter liners and just dotted it on.  Easy!

I used CoverFX for my foundation to get a flawless, full coverage look which is perfectly appropriate for night time.

On my lips, I went for a nude pink lipstick and gloss combo.  Can't go wrong with that!  I also love this gloss because it lights up and has a mirror, perfect for your clutch for a quick-touch up.

Here's What I Used:

EYES
Sedona Lace Eye Primer
Essence Cream Shadow Base in Silver
Urban Decay Gold Glitter Liner
NYX Disco Ball Glitter Liner
Everyday Minerals "I'm Keeping Your CDs" pigment
Makeup For Ever - Warm Brown shadow
PixiGlow White Gold Pigment

MAC Feline Eye Kohl
Duo Lash Adhesive
Tarte Brow Gel Liner
Jemma Kidd Concealer Duo in Medium

FACE

I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years Eve.  I'll be having a quiet holiday with the BF and his family, probably watching the count-down.  Happy New Year!
