October 2012 Favorites!

Hi Bellas,

It's that time again - time for monthly favorites!  I think I missed September but I've got a nice amount of goodies to feature from October.  It's very makeup and skincare heavy with a few hair items.  Check it out!

Check out the video!

Holly B Organics - Grits and Honey Scrub- This stuff has saved my skin into the cooler weather.  Without it, my skin would be dry, itchy and flaky.  This is definitely something I recommend to everyone.
Bio Oil - I'm nearly through an entire bottle of this stuff and I like it!  It smells great and it's super moisturizing.  I actually got it to help with stretch marks and I did see a difference.  I'll even use it on my face for extra moisture or to help fading.
Cover FX Foam Cleanser - This is an oldie but I really found myself loving it for Halloween and all the makeup removal.  This stuff has lasted me forever!  I love that it's a gentle foam but literally removes everything!  You can use it with a cotton pad or use it as a face wash.  It's awesome.
NARS Blush in Luster- This is such an easy, pretty shade to wear.  It's a browny pink that will look good with every makeup look.  It gives the skin a sheen and would look good on all skin tones.
Revlon Red Velvet Lip Butter with Black Opal Plumberry Lipliner - This is one of my favorite lip combos for the fall and you can find it at the drugstore.  I'll have a blog post featuring the pair.  It's a gorgeous deep red combo that will look good on everyone.  Plus, the lip butter is super moisturizing, great for people with dry lip issues like myself.

Conair Deep Waver - I like this hair tool!  It's different and so easy!  It gives you volume through a semi-crimped look.  I'm thinking of doing a tutorial on it.  It's great for long no mess hair.
Ruby Kisses Lipstick from the Beauty Supply Store - These lipsticks really surprised me.  They were only a few dollars each but the color, pigmentation, and quality are great!
Tarte Maracuja Oil - I only got a sample of this but I definitely will consider repurchasing.  It's awesome for mixing in with moisturizer to keep skin moisturized into Winter.
Donut Bun Makers - These little guys make instant classy buns/top knots which are really in right now.  I got mine from Claire's for buy one get one.

Not So Favorite
LA Splash Liquid Liner - I wanted to like this but it wasn't for me.  It's an intense, shiny and super wet liquid liner. So wet that it doesn't ever seem to dry on my monolids and it's smudge city.  I'll stick with my classic Revlon Colorstay liquid liner.
