Product Re-Purchase: Pur Minerals Foundation

Hi Bellas,

Happy Halloween!  I'm pumped about a costume party I'm going to tonight.  I'll make sure to take pics.  Meanwhile, today I thought I'd focus on a product that I know works.  As a beauty blogger I try out a lot of new products so when I repurchase something you know it's a winner!  Today I'm featuring Pur Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation.  It's really the only mineral makeup I'd use.  Today I've got pics and I'll show you my favorite way to apply it.  Check it out!

I repurchased my shade Medium Dark when I saw it on www.hautelook.com.  I love that website because you find awesome brands and they're always on sale!  You can also find this at your local Ulta.

The shade Medium Dark actually looks darker in pan than it applies.  For those in MAC NC42 range this a great match - the perfect amount of brown and yellow.  I tried Tan before but it was too light.  I really love this foundation because it's got the benefits of mineral makeup but it's pressed so you don't have to worry about the mess.
The compact has a convenient mirror and sponge which makes it super convenient for on-to-go.
I prefer to use it with an old school kabuki brush.  It's quick and super easy.  For lighter coverage, use a powder brush - you can use it to set foundation.  Or for full coverage, use a flat top buffer brush.
Here I am applying the foundation to the left side of my face.
As you can see, it looks very natural on - it evens everything out.  On the left I have on the foundation and the right my skin is bare.
If you're looking for an easy mineral makeup solution, you guys should give it a try!  Let me know if you've tried it in the comments below!
