Raven's Wedding

Hi Bellas,

I wanted to share with you some shots of the recent wedding I did.  This post is a follow up to yesterday's entry.  Now that you saw the makeup I wore on myself, you can see the makeup I did for others.  I was hired to do a the makeup for a bride and her bridesmaids here in Atlanta.  I worked with the BF who shot the amazing photography for the ceremony.

For the wedding, I also had another artist assist me.  If you're an aspiring or beginning artist in the Atlanta area and you're looking for assisting opportunities, please shoot me an email at makeupbyren@yahoo.com.

This is a great getting ready shot in the bride's hotel room.

Up close shot of the makeup.  The bride wanted a subtle smoky eye with pink cheeks and lips.

Bride getting ready...another makeup shot.  Gotta love Viva Glam V, my go to lip color!

Classic bride in window shot.

Bridesmaids and the groom.  The look for the bridesmaids was a natural plum look with pink lips.  I actually was inspired to do a tutorial on it which will come soon.

Love this shot.

Shot of the bride and groom leaving in an antique Bentley!

For the makeup I basically went for a smokey eye with brown in the crease. We kept it light by using silver on the lid. To see what I used, click here. I basically did the same makeup as for the bride's engagement photos...but I kicked it up a notch.

I can't leave you all without a tip for my aspiring makeup artists and future brides to be out there. Carry a few straws in your makeup kit. That way, the bride can take a sip of water and keep hydrated without messing up all the work you did applying gloss and lipstick.

Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
