The Balm Balmsai Palette Review and Mermaid Makeup!

Hi Bellas,

Happy Friday!  I've got another review from one of my favorite brands the Balm.  I was also able to create a fun, mermaid inspired look for you all.  If you're into fabulous palettes with tons of fab colors, you gotta check this out!

The Balmsai palette contains a mix of neutral and bright shadows in both mattes and shimmer.  It also comes with stencils for brows and cat liner - bonus!
I love the slim, cardboard packaging with a large mirror.  It's very travel friendly and doesn't take up a lot of space on your vanity.

Here are all the swatches dry without a base.  They're very pigmented and are easy to blend apply.
I love that you have all the colors you need to create a look - highlight shades, fun lid shades, and dark contour and smoke shades that can also be used for liner and brows.
The neat addition to this set are the brow and liner stencils.  I actually tried them out and they work!  You can use the matte neutral colors in the set - the browns and black work perfectly.

I decided to go with the beachy theme and created a mermaid inspired look using this palette and love the way it turned out.

Here's what I used:

From the Balmsai palette...
High Tide in the tearduct
Epic as the crease blend out color
Big kahuna on the lid
Surfs Up on the middle of lid
Surfari in the Outer V
Righteous Lower Lashline
