Bridal Trial: Pink vs Purple

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with more bridal makeup!  I wanted to share some shots of a bridal trial I did a few weeks ago.  Whenever I do a trial I typically do at least two different eye looks to give the bride some options.  Check out which one she picked!
On my bride I focused on polishing her look.  On a previous bridal trial, the artist had gone too dramatic.  I wanted to emphasize her natural features and of course those gorgeous blue eyes.  On her skin, I primed with Smashbox Green corrective primer to take away redness.  Then I applied MUFE HD Foundation, MAC MSF Natural Powder, and Graftobian blush.  Her lips are a mix of nudes from my favorite Viseart Nude Lip Palette.

It's a little more difficult to tell the color change with eyes open as my client has a slight hooded eye.  As you can see from this shot, we did a pink/brown combo on the left and a smokey purple on the right.  She actually went with the pink look which I think was very appropriate for the bridal occassion.  On both eyes she's wearing the 747s lash style which is my go to bridal lash.  I lightly defined her brows with MAC lingering pencil - she didn't want a heavy brow so I merely underlined it to give definition.
It's important to listen to what your client wants when giving a consultation.  Chances are they'll end up booking you if you're able to really understand their vision of their perfect makeup.  Hope you enjoyed!  Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
