April/May 2014 Beauty Favorites

Hi Bellas,

Are you finally ready for monthly favorites?  I'm playing catch-up so this time i'm featuring two months worth of favs!  Check it out!

Check out the video!

CoverFX Total Cream Cover Foundation - Shade G70
I have been going to a ton of events lately!  From my Atlanta Makeup Meetup, to my CoverFX Sephora event, to my Bestie's Wedding, I've been using this foundation for a flawless, glamorous look.  The cream can be worn full coverage or sheered out...I applied it with a synthetic powder brush and I'm done in less than a minute.  I totally recommend this for anyone's makeup bag or kit because it's so versatile.
CoverFX Lipgloss in Pink Bronze
I keep this lipgloss in my bag and it looks great with anyone look.  It's a pinky bronze and the metallic finish gives an extra shine especially over a nude lip.  It's also non-sticky, has a minty taste and feels great on the lips.
Dior Addict for Life Perfume
I picked up this perfume finally from a Sephora Christmas Perfume Sample Set - it's the full size i chose and im glad i did!  I always get so many compliments when i wear it.  It's very fresh and light but wearable for day and night.  I'm sensitive to a lot of perfumes but love this.  I totally recommend.
Lady Moss - Koko Lashes
I picked these up as a steal from IMATS NY.  The criss cross style is wispy enough to me natural but dense enough for drama - my kind of combo!  I like these as my dramatic daytime lashes.
Spray Tan - Norvell in Dark
So I was planning on getting my first spray tan for my bestie's wedding.  Then I realized how expensive it was an only lasts a few days!  I decide to just buy some solution from Amazon and ran it through my bottom feed airbrush gun - instant tan for just $30.  The bottle will seriously last forever.
Nexus 5
So I finally got a new phone.  This is an upgrade from my Nexus 4 where my battery overheated, the bottom navigation buttons stopped working.  This phone is awesome at multi-tasking, has a really nice screen and takes great pics.  It's comparable to the Samsung Galaxy 5 but cheaper - I love that it's a google phone because all of my contacts and apps automatically downloaded when I logged into my gmail account.

Makeup For Ever Sculpting Blush in 22
Now that I'm tan, I need a brighter blush to show up more on my deeper skin tone.  I love this apricot blush - it's got a bit of a sheen to give me a healthy glow and really pops on my tan.  I've had it for the longest and it was neglected till now.  Loves!

Senna Cosmetics Brilliant Bronze in Sunset
Again with my tan, I needed a bronzer/contour that would brighten up my skin without going ashy.  This product has the perfect browney tone with a bit of red that I need.  And the bonus is that it comes with a gorgeous gold highlighter that's subtle enough to make my skin look like it just naturally glows.

Graftobian Makeup Warm #2 Palette
This foundation palette has saved my life when I instantly tanned several shades darker after my trip to Jamaica.  I simply went from Desert Sand (2nd shade from the left) to Golden Sunset (2nd shade from the right).  I love having this palette year round because I can custom adjust my foundation without carrying a lot of product.  I also use the lightest and darkest shades to highlight and contour.  All the shades are in the warm tones.  I totally recommend getting a 5 pan for your makeup bag as well.

Hope you guys enjoyed my monthly favorites.  I've already got a few in store for next month.  Stay tuned!
