Help me pick my 2012 New Years Outfit!

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with one of my last posts of 2012.  I need your help!  I'm going to a NYE party this weekend and I can't decide what to wear.  I have two options - a long and slinky number, or a short and sparkly one.  Help me decide!

Here are my options:

Option #1:  Black Twist Back Maxi Dress from Dorothy Perkins
It's not my typical sparkly, short number that I'd usually rock...but I love how it feels on.  It's long and slinky with a deep slit up the thigh and a cute tie in the back.  I plan on wearing it with a large statement necklace and platforms with big hair to channel the 70s.  The great thing about this dress is that I can definitely wear it again and dress it up or down.

I'm loving this big, curly hairstyle from Geekchic01

Option #2:  Mini Dress with Sequins Mesh from Asos
This is more my style.  It's short, blingy, and fun.  I like how it's the same colors as the first dress so that I can wear the same jewelry and shoes.  I'll probably throw in my clip-in extensions and go for a Kim K kinda hairstyle with this look.

I love this hair tutorial by my girl itsJudyTime

Shoes
I'll be rocking these Black Wedge Semi-Platform heels.  The fabric is a black velvet which dresses the shoe up a bit.  Better yet, they're crazy comfy!  I've made the mistake of wearing ridiculously cute but crazy uncomfortable shoes for NYE parties and suffering all night...not this time!
Well what do you guys think?  Let me know which dress I should wear for New Years in the comments below, thanks!

I prefer the first outfit! :) Black remains trendy and gorgeous on every woman. ^^
Happy New Year!

I love the 2nd one! The first one is cute too, but it seems more formal to me. Nothing wrong with that, but NYE parties tend to be more flamboyant and fun like the 2nd dress. Lol. Can't wait to see what you choose!

Love the 2nd one! If the first was shorter, then I'd pick that but since it's NYE, I'd wanna be able to move on the dance floor :)

Hey Ren Ren! Both dresses are beautiful but I say go with the 2nd dress. It is glittery, flashy, sexy, and fun!
