Spring Wedding: Makeup and Outfit

Hi Bellas,

A few weeks ago I attended my cousin's wedding.  I was so honored to do the bridal party's makeup but I also had time to give myself a little spring makeover.  Check it out!
When attending someone else's wedding, I'm all about letting the bride shine.  This means, no dramatic makeup and no loud colors.  So I kept my makeup pretty and pink, perfect for a Spring wedding.

On my eyes I used an oldy but goody, my Wet N Wild Color Icon palette in Lust - sadly discontinued.  It has a gorgeous range of matte and shimmer pinks and purples.  It gave me a very subtle smokey eye.  I like putting pink in the crease as an eyeshadow transition color because it's a little softer than the typical warm brown.  I paired it with a pale pink lip using my favorite Alcone Enduring Lip Color in Creme Brulee.

I loved loved my Nicole Miller dress from Rent the Runway.  It was very lightweight and comfortable but gave me a really nice shape.  I love the off the shoulder design for those of us who are a bit self conscious about our arms.  And the rouching around the middle was also super flattering.

I paired it with nude heels which were super comfortable and great for a long day.  I definitely recommend Rent the Runway if you want to get a fabulous special occasion dress without having to shell out the big bucks.  I also find that I often buy too many dresses that I wear just once - might as well get a fabulous dress for cheaper and save my closet space.  They also send you two sizes to make sure you'll get a good fit and easy return shipping. Hope you all enjoyed!  Till next time, Ciao Bellas!
