Sugarpill Edward Scissorhands Collection Review & Swatches

Hi Bellas,

It's been 25 years since the iconic Edward Scissorhands movie and Sugarpill is bringing it back with a themed collection reminiscent of the classic film.  I'm loving the interesting combo of colors balancing light and dark.  Check it out!

First off, this palette is everything.  The packaging as usual is gorgeous.  I really love the mix of shades.  They're unusual but work so well together.  You can get everything from a nude to a smokey metallic look.  The palette retails for $36 at www.sugarpillshop.com

Here are the shades:

Home Sweet Home: matte powder blue
Ice Angel: silvery white with iridescent blue sheen
The Inventor: creamy metallic gunmetal
Suburbia: flirty matte coral, doubles as a blush shade!
Heart-Shaped Cookie: soft matte beige - the perfect blending shade
Castle on the Hill: deep stone brown - the color of a castle’s deteriorating exterior.

As you can see, you get a mix of light and dark, and various finishes from matte to metallic and irridescent.  Sugarpill shadows never disappoint - they are always very pigmented and are easy to apply and blend.

You also get two polishes in the collection which are sold out right now on their site, but retail for $10.  The inventor is a great rock n roll shade - steel gray base with silver glitter.  Totally holiday worthy as well.

Ice Angel offers a contrast to its dark counterpart, and applies as a sheer base with white sprinkles that remind me of snowflakes.  It would make a great topper for a fun winter nail look.

I am seriously loving the palette and have a dramatic and natural look coming in some upcoming posts.  Stay tuned!
