Review and Swatches: Ofra Summer Nights Collections

Hi Bellas,

I'm excited to share you the latest and greatest from Ofra Cosmetics.  They recently came out with their Summer Nights Collection which features new shades of their amazing Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick as well as a new Bronzer/Blush/Shimmer Trio.  Check it out!

First off, i'm a huge fan of Ofra's Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks.  The quality is really great - very pigmented, matte and lasts forever.  They also have a huge range of shades for everyone - from neutral to bright or vampy.  I love the mix of shades in this new collection.  You have your nudes as well as some really unique shades that are worth checking out.

Venice is a bright orange based red.  This is definitely a statement lip, perfect for summer and anyone who loves a bold lippie.  It's definitely a dupe for MAC Lady Danger lipstick.

Santa Ana is a really unique shade.  It's a deeper strawberry pink which I'm starting to see pop up more now in the beautysphere.  This is a really flattering shade for anyone - it's a step up above neutral with it's berry undertone.  I think this is so pretty and unique - I don't have anything similar in my collection.

Pasadena is what I would call a "My Lips But Better Shade".  I was surprised at how close it is to my natural lip color - a browny pink neutral tone, which makes it a shade that I would gravitate to all the time.  This would be lovely as a nude lip on deeper skin tones or that Kylie Jennier lip on fairer skin tones.

Malibu is a really fun violet shade.  I see a lot more purple tones on the market but this one is special - it's got a deeper tone which makes it in between the bright violets or vampy purples that are on opposite ends of the purple spectrum and oftentimes too bold for many to wear.  This purply shade is right in the middle and super wearable.  It really is unique and would look good on so many skintones.

Bel Air is that perfect lip color that was missing for me in the Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick collection.  It's got a peachy beige undertone which means that it won't make my lips look too washed out - instead it gives that perfect nuded out lip with a bit of color underneath to make it fresh.  This is a great nude lip for tan skintones and I think it would look really chic and mod on fairer tones as a peach.  On deeper skin tones I'd rock this with a brown lip pencil and it would be perfection.

Ofra also released the California Dream Triangle which is a trio of blush, bronzer and highlighter.  I love items that multi-task.  You can use each of these wedge of colors on their own or mix them all for a custom shade.

I like to mix them to create a bronzey glow to my cheeks.  As a reference, used on its own, the blush and bronzer would work best for fair to medium skin tones.  The illuminator has a touch of peach which makes it a great shade for all skin tones.
