Review: Rouge Bunny Rouge

Hi Bellas,

I'm back with another review.  I had the opportunity to try out this new London/Moscow based cult brand which is quickly making a name for itself in the U.S.  If you're into luxury, gorgeously packaged cosmetics, you gotta check this out!

Onto the review!

Rufous-Tailed Weaver Long-Lasting Eye Shadow $25
These shadows have a lightweight, super creamy finish.  The product is supposed to last for 8 hours and contains orange-drived flavonoid to improve blood circulation and enhance luminosity.

The quality is really nice but it is a bit pricey.  The eyeshadow compact is definitely upgraded as it comes with a mirror and the eyeshadow has a pretty imprint and nice packaging.  I would have liked to try some other shades to see how pigmented they are since this color blends into my skintone.

Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in Tanzanite Essence $28
This eyeliner actually contains minute particles of artifical quartz to give incredible shine.  I wasn't sure what to expect from a shimmer liner but this is definitely the nicest one I've tried by far.

As you can see, you could apply this as a thin line or on top of a shadow or pencil for a metallic effect.  I was totally inspired to use this for a rock-star inspired look which will be featured on the blog tomorrow.

Two Rich Lovers Lipgloss $23
This lipgloss has a bit of transparent rainbow and a pearlescent effect.  They contain vitamin E and botanical extracts and are super nurturing on the lips.
As you can see this is a pale pink with a bit of blue pearl duochrome. The gloss feels really smooth on the lips and has a slight sugar scent. It would look really great as a sheer finish on the lip or paired on top of a lipgloss.

Dissolved in Dreams Sheer Lipstick $24
This lipstick is also infused with Vitamin E.  It is also meant to act like a gloss with tons of shimmer packed in.
Though it's called a sheer lipstick, it really does pack a lot pigment.  Personally I don't like this shade but if you're into this finish the quality is really nice.
Nothing Unknown Colour Burst Lipstick $24
This lipstick is infused with vitamin E and very nourishing on the lips.  Can we talk about the packaging>  This lacquered black metal feels super heavy and expensive, loves it.

As you can see, this lipstick has a lustre finish with a pink base and similiar duo chrome finish to the lipgloss.  I'm not really a fan of this finish but it would look pretty paired on top of another solid color lipstick.
Pure Obsidian Mascara $26
I've got thin, short lashes...so mascara is often combined with falsies in my case.  But I was surprised to see that this mascara definitely gave me lift and volume.

Sweet To Touch Highlighting Powder $39
I was blown away by the luxe packaging on this powder.  What a gorgeous gift this would make!  The actual compact comes in a gorgeous black lacquered compact with white floral design - the look is truly impeccable.
This highlighting powder is perfection...the light pink is great for highlighting undereye concealer and high points like the cheekbones, nose, chin and forehead.  The finish has a slight sheen so it's not overly garrish or sparkly, but more of a natural sheen.  I absolutely love this...unfortunately the pink tone doesn't suit by tan skin but they do have another shade Goddess which falls more on the yellow side which I'm considering ordering.

Stay tuned, I'm thinking about doing a giveaway on this product as it doesn't work for me but would be lovely on someone else!

At Netherway Cove Bronzing Glow Powder $39
Wow this packaging is absolutely gorgeous!  I love the orange and black design with the bunny logo.  So chic!  Again you get a really nice mirror and imprinted puff.
The consistency again is super smooth and luxurious.  The product is built with advanced micronisation and gives a smoothing effect along with peptides and extracts to smooth and protect the skin.  It's not heavy so you could really apply and build this onto the skin without it looking cakey.  It has a demi-matte finish so it truly looks skin like without being too dry.  I can't wait to rock this into the winter months when my skin gets paler and I need a bit of bronzing.  This is truly a luxurious bronzer.

In all, these products are definitely top of the line, premium cosmetics.  The quality does match the pricetag...I would definitely recommend of them all the bronzer, highlighter, eyeshadow and eyeliner.
