Review: Anastasia See & Be Seen Kit

Hi Bellas,

Happy Monday!  Thanks for everyone's support in the Red Bull Race.  I'll have pictures soon.  Meanwhile, I've been meaning to show you my review of the Anastasia See and Be Seen Kit - many of the items made it to this month's favorite list, check it out!
Anastasia - See And Be Seen Set
First off, the package can with this really cute View Finder Toy with shots of the product campaign.  What a cute idea!  I'm a sucker for good marketing.
Here are all the products included in the See and Be Seen Set
Close up of the eyeshadow Duo
I am in love with these colors!  They make the perfect shimmery, golden bronze eye, love!
Best part is that they are so pigmented and apply really smooth even without a base
The kit also comes in a tinted brow gel - this is great for those with lighter hair tones.  It's a bit too light for me though.

Lipglosses!  A sheer but buildable hot pink...
And a bright coral - perfect for summer!
Up close shot of the applicators - they're plastic mini spatulas, what a great idea for makeup artists!  Scoop the product out and keep everything sanitary.
Close up of the gloss - pretty right?
I also got the Lash Genius to try out but this will be featured in a separate video review.
All in all I give this set 4 out of 5 stars.  I only took off one point because the brow gel could have been a more universal color, or even clear to work with most people.

This set retails for $44 at www.anastasia.net or at Sephora or Ulta.

I actually did a tutorial rocking the shadow and gloss - the combination is perfect for the summer.  Stay tuned!

The coral looks really pretty and versatile against a range of skin tones. I really hate how makeup companies build kits centered around a specific skin tone and ethnicity, as if women of color don't exist, ugh!
