I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving break. Sorry for no post yesterday but I was recouperating from my trip to Orlando these last few days and on top of it, I have finals for my MBA this week, craziness! Who studies during Thanksgiving break, sheesh! LOL
Anywho, I wanted to share a great deal for those of you looking for a traincase. My friends at www.Yazmo.com are having a Cyber Week long special!
I'm back with my biggest friday giveaway yet! I have some super exciting changes for the Vortex Brush Collection that I designed for www.Sedonalace.com. On top of it, I'm having a huge giveaway! Stay tuned for more!
First off, Happy Thanksgiving! I'm currently home in Orlando with the BF and the parents celebrating the holiday and giving thanks for the year's blessings. It's been a great year and I have so much to thank you all for. As a thank you to everyone...I promise to have a Friday Giveaway through the end of 2011 to shower my lovely viewers with Holiday goodies. I hope you all (at least those in the US lol) are having a fantastic Thanksgiving.
Also, thanks to everyone for participating in last Friday's Giveaway for the Tatcha Blotting Sheets! Check out the winners after the jump!
I'm back with another video tutorial! Halloween is far from over, so it's about time that I post a good old, wearable makeup tutorial, lol. You recently saw my recent FOTD featuring Aveda. Today I went for a dramatic, jewel toned look featuring many of the vibrant colors from the collection. If you like deep, smokey eyes with color, this one is for you!
I'm back with another review! You all know that I am obsessed with brows. Anastasia is one of the Holy Grail brands for brow lovers and i'm a huge fan of her products. I recently had the chance to try out one of their newest kits and it came right in time for my new hair and brow color.
As you all know, I ended up wearing the Mermaid Look for Halloween. I wanted to show you actual pictures of the look I wore from Halloween. For the actual night, I ended up punching up the color and drama a bit. It's fun, jewel toned rainbow look that I think my bright makeup lovers will really like!
I'm back with another review and giveaway. I've had the chance to try a new product from one of my favorite companies Tatcha. They're famous for their Gold Leaf Paper Blotting Sheets. Even more famously, Mario Dedivanovic (Kim K's makeup artist) uses them regularly on his clients. Recently they came out with a new version of the sheets which makes an awesome edition to your clutches for all the holiday parties you'll be attending this year. Click here for more!
I'm back with another haul! This one is from several months ago, but I wanted to still give you info about this product. I use Temptu Dura airbrush foundation in my kit and I definitely consider it to be a must-have for covering tattoos and body coverage in general.
I'm back with another FOTD. Today's look was inspired by the gorgeous jewel tone colors from Aveda's Fall/Winter collection, appropriately titled "Jewels of the Earth". If you're looking for a really pretty look to wear for Thanksgiving and all of your Holiday events, this might be for you!
I'm back with another round of Friday giveaways! For the next couple of weeks, i'll be posting reviews and hosting Friday giveaways for my fabulous readers.
Today I want to know, do you ever have the problem with your bangs, or stray hairs getting in the way when you wash your face or do your makeup? I do all the time! I came across such a simple, nifty invention that's great for keeping hair out of your face without messing up your style. And guess what? I'm giving away 5 sets to some of my lucky readers!
I'm back with another fun post. I had the chance a few weeks ago to attend an awesome event - The Bravo Real Housewives Tour. Who here loves the Real Housewives series? I do, I do! This tour went to different cities around the country and it featured a panel discussion with some of our favorite Housewives from the hit Bravo series. They came to Atlanta and my girls and I thought it would make a great girls night out. We dressed up, I did some makeup and we had an awesome time.
I'm back with another event post. All of my friends know that i'm a night owl. Yet a couple of weeks ago, I willingly woke myself to be at a 7:30am event on a Saturday morning. Why you ask? Well to attend a Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show! This was definitely something worth waking up early for. It was pretty awesome - beauty products galore! My local Nordstrom (Perimeter Mall in Atlanta) is one of 22 across the country that hosts this runway show featuring beauty trends from our favorite brands.
I'm back with another video and this one is all about shoes! I finally tried out Sole Society, another monthly shoe club, and wanted to share my first purchase. I'm really pleased and can't wait to show you the outcome. If you like Shoedazzle, then you'll love Sole Society.
I'm back with another FOTD post! This is a look from a few weeks back. It's actually before I dyed my hair. This post features a look I created using Urban Decay's Naked Palette. I like doing posts like these because I know that a lot of you have the palette and can easily recreate this look.
I've had this post saved for a while. I wanted to film a video tutorial for it, but never got around to it. However, I didn't want these tips to go to waste. I do makeup for a variety of age groups, including the mature skin category. Applying makeup on this group definitely requires practice and I wanted to share a few tips I've learned along the way.
I'm back with another Halloween makeup post. This time around, I solicited the BF's help in being my model. Last minute, we ended up going out on Monday, Halloween night. I had this ape man prosthetic that I hadn't had time to do a tutorial on this year, and I was happy to finally get a chance to give it a shot. I was super happy with the results!
I hope you all had an amazing Halloween. This year, I actually didn't dress up as any of the tutorials I mentioned (correction I was the mermaid on Monday, post to come!). My costume was actually very last minute, lol, but I love how it came out and I totally represented for the Asians, lol.
I haven't really had the time to make a favorites video. But I did take note of some of the items i've been loving over the last few months. I always like to share items that I find pass the test in case you guys have some shopping to do!
